Check in was smooth and quick. I was escorted to my room. The room was well appointed, clean and house keeping did a good job. The hotel took care of an issue with slightly faulty bathroom faucets as well. Overall, a nice stay.

Booked this hotel through Ctrip. From the surprise at the beginning to the surprise later, I was glad to book this hotel. There are no luxurious facilities here, but the imprint of time flows everywhere. It has the memory of this city and witnesses the history of British colonialism. Meals may not be grand, but each one is carefully crafted and masterpiece. The guests in the hotel are from all countries, or the whole family is on vacation, or come here to write ... Next to the Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial ... If you are traveling to Kolkata, be sure to stay at this hotel. i

The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and equipped with all the necessary amenities.Overall, my stay at Taj City Centre New Town was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata.

Service staff very friendly and helpful. Very central location. Hot water 24 hours a day. Poor ventilation in rooms without windows (upgrade was suggested at check-in for an additional charge). All in all, recommended for the price and for a short stay (we were there for 3 nights). For a longer stay, we would rather pay more for better facilities.

This is a lodging in the southern part of Kolkata. While the metro construction around the area shows India's development, there are rows of shacks. There is a shopping center called Acropolis nearby, which also has a food court. The rooms are spacious and clean. Please note that the mattresses are hard. Although 1,200 yen is on the expensive side for a dormitory, it was worth it as breakfast was included (and there are few places to eat nearby).

The room was clean. It was a shame that there was no hot water. It was a little far from the station and the Taj Mahal.
