Stayed 2 nights at HHI Kolkata. 4 star rating? Really?!! The hotel is in a run down condition. Only poor cover ups happening around the place. Filthy as well. Mould in bathrooms, power points cracked and unable to recharge our phone. False ceiling and wall plaster peeling off. Temperature control in room impossible. Either freeze or switch off aircon and potentially feel hot. Had our travel agent change our assigned rooms to an "upgraded" one but that made no difference. One of the rooms we got ( we had 2 rooms booked) , did not have a firm enough mattress leading to body aches in the morning. The hotel needs to close down for a while for a proper renovation and until that happens.. we cannot see how it can boast 4 star rating. Hotel staff in general though were helpful and welcoming.

Room was nice and neat and clean. Mr. Prabir was so friendly and nice. Mr. Ashok is so helpful and nice . Ms. Rajanya in front desk was so kind and helpful. U will feel so relax and cleanliness was very nice. Toilet was so clean and pillow was also clean. Everything was perfect.

Very good cleansing by house keeping staff. Me Rajeev has been very supportive to provide great service. The buffet breakfast and dinner is also sumptuous. Pool and bar and other amenities also suit the restaurant. Really enjoyed the stay.

The house keeping was excellent everything was on a single call.the all staff was too helpful and kind.must visit for a short trip.....the hotel is in the main location of ajc bose road. And very nearby to all the shopping areas. Food is good..

Overall staying experience is good. Clean and Good Environment to stay. Must recommend. Mr. Rakesh is very good person to meet over here. Food is also good, great taste we can say. If you are also planning to visit Kolkata, must stay over here.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at HHI.The staff was very cordial, Especially house keeping staff. The room cleaning was very good.Really enjoyed the stay .Room was very comfortable.

I’m staying in HHI Kolkata since last more than one year & needs to travel monthly for business purpose - I feel like a second home.
