Booked in here for 6 nights. Have been here 3 nights and not slept a single night due to horrendous noise from adjoining night club. This goes on EVERY NIGHT until 4am. Disgusting! Asked to be moved to another room further away but we just got moved up a floor still above the club so made no difference. This has ruined my holiday. I do not recommend you stay here if you want to sleep. This is NOT a one off. This is EVERY NIGHT UNTIL 4am. Terrible hotel.

Very noisy due to nightclub down stairs with booming music until 4am. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep. People shouting and banging doors until late and our room vibrates from the ridiculously loud base until 4am. No duvet cover on my bed just a grotty nylon duvet sandwiched between 2 sheets. Food nice in restaurant but not much choice for vegans. Apart from these issues hotel was ok but would not come back due to noise.

The Astor Hotel experience is wonderful. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. I would like to especially mention Tina Payel who was at the reception desk who went beyond her duty to help me to have a pleasant stay. What really appealed is was quietness - it is like an oasis in the middle of this bustling city. My room was beautifully furnished with spacious bathrooms and included all the amenities. My stay was over Diwali and the hotel manager wrote a personal note to all the guests to invite us to the Diwali celebrations. Was a fun time with the staff. I really liked the fact that it is small cosy boutique hotel with a great restaurant attached which serves a nice breakfast. Bravo to all the staff for making this place so special!

I have stayed here for 14 days staff and hotel management is good. Tina and payel reception staff are quick response to customer need. Hotel is Located in well developed area. Which near to tourist place. Heritage look of hotel is well maintained. Victoria, brila planetarium, famous chruch, kalighat and many temple it is nearby. In walking distance you find metro station which will best option for travel to save time. Hotel is good and heritage atmosphere. I feel like iam staying in old maharaja palace. Rooms are well maintained and very comfortable to stay. Housekeeping staffs are super friendly. Cleanliness is top level. Different states mixed indian Morning complimentary breakfast. Hotel provides complimentary lounge and bar access. Hotel is value for money. Noise level is also less.

The Astor hotel is celebrated for its attentive service and exceptional cleanliness, with many travelers praising the staff,s dedication and the immaculate condition of the rooms. The hotels picturesque location offers stunning views though some mentioned limited access to nearby attractions. The luxurious atmosphere and well appointed rooms received high marks ,as do the extensive amenities. However opinions on value vary, with some finding the cost not fully justified by the experience.
