They were great at the Kokomo La Quinta. No hot tub though, that made me sad. The water in the pool was too cool for me, especially without a warm place to retreat to.

From the check-in to the check-out the front desk had good employees working there to assist. The room seemed a bit larger than most places and it was spotless, well maintained and the beds were comfortable. It may be a 'no-frills' type place, but I didn't need frills, just a place to set up my laptop and sleep. It is close to over a dozen different places to eat, so meals are easy to get and there's a Bob Evans just up th street. Coffee was good at check out. As I pass back through Kokomo, I will stay here again.

Dirty blankets and super loud neighbors. Pretty fair amount of sketchy people staying there. Really noisy throughout the whole night. Smelled of **** 🤮. Couldn’t sleep. Bed frame was about broke. The staff itself were all very nice tho!

This location is behind a Cracker Barrel and a short walk to a gas station. Additionally it has a working indoor pool. There is a lawn area behind the building for smokers and pets. I went on a few evening walks and noted that the area is rather peaceful at night. As this was a mobility room, the bathroom was enormous with an assist bench, and the bathtub was incredibly deep which was rare for someone taller like me. The room is also close to the lobby. The major downside is that the room had previously been wet, so there was a stronger smell pertaining to that and the carpet was damp. In addition the carpet needs shampooing, as my feet became quite dirty on it after a time.

In the first morning I turned on the water in the shower - after 15 minutes of waiting, the water was no higher than 40 degrees. After work I complained to the front desk and the worker said it was ok since a lot of people go to shower at the same time. At 4:30 AM? Only 10 cars in front of the hotel? The next day after work, the water did not get warmer. The same guy is on the front desk and he advised me to check out of the hotel right now and move to another one! After my request to contact the owner, the owner ordered me to be moved to another room. We checked 3 rooms. In the first two, in general, there is no water at all. Only in the third the water was OK. Bottom line: the service is absolutely unacceptable, the workers are arrogant and rude. Breakfast is cheap and poor quality. The Hotel is also called Best Western, but the credit card says Quality Inn - which created an additional problem for the expanse report. DO NOT STAY in Kokomo Best Western.
