Log cabin, paneded inside, built in 1991, livingroom with bunk bed for two, four mattresses on the loft (steep stairs to loft, max. height of 1.35 m), sauna with electric stove, bathroom, separate toilet, covered porch. Cottage is situated inholiday village, area of natural beauty. Also caravans in the area. Campfire site by shore. Hiking path.
Cottage owner has private Lumbering and log floating museum, small entrance fee.
Jokijärvi cultural sites e.g. famous author Kalle Päätalo's childhood home Kallioniemi 2 km, Kylmäluoma recreational area 20 km, gorge lake Julma Ölkky 40 km, Taivalkoski, e.g. old traditional Jalava store 24 km.
Hunting: Etelä-Taivalkoski 5622 (www.eraluvat.fi).
Fishing: Lakes Jokijärvi, Tyräjärvi and Koiviojärvi: Province of Oulu lure fishing (www.mmm.fi), Kylmäluoma recreational fishing area 4525 (www.eraluvat.fi).
