Had a very pleasant stay in Pench with my wife as part of a tour of the national parks of Madhya Pradesh. The staff were fantastically attentive and the food was lovely, even toned down in spice after they asked how we found it. The location is just 5 minutes from the park gates and there are lovely gardens including sizeable ponds with Kingfishers, Flying Foxes and other wildlife present. There is only WiFi in the communal areas and the connection is not reliable. Also there are a number of varied rooms. Several families were staying with plenty of children. Just be aware this is less intimate or quiet than other lodges in the area. Also the hot water to the shower is unreliable. Overall though we had a very pleasant stay. I turned 30 whilst at the property and without request they surprised us with a candlelit dinner under the stars and a cake with Chameleon icing on it! This was thanks to the best part of the camp - naturalist Animesh Manna (AKA Anni). Anni's knowledge of wildlife of all kinds from mammals to birds, butterflies to frogs and plants and trees was astonishing. Beyond this though, his passion for nature and conservation was unrivalled and completely infectious. We have remained in contact since I left Pench. He cannot be praised enough.
