Hotels in Sairee Beach, Koh Tao

My family and I spent a week at Tarna Resort and had a great experience. Pros: 1. Scuba Diving: One of the standout features of Tarna is the on-site scuba diving instructors. Johnny and his team are professional, patient, and knowledgeable. 2. Friendly Staff: The team is warm and helpful. 3. Clean Rooms: Comfortable and tidy accommodations. 4. Great Breakfast: Simple but delicious options to start the day. 5. Good Location: Within walking distance to many restaurants. About 10-15 minute walk from the beach. Cons: 1. Steep Hill: The resort is on a hill, making the walk back a bit tough, though scooters are available for rent directly at the hotel. 2. Stairs: Might be challenging for families with young children. 3. Early Restaurant Hours: The on-site dining closes early, but there are nearby options. 4. Water Pressure: Not the best; showers could be hotter. Overall, our stay at the Tarna was enjoyable and the positives certainly outweighed the negatives.

Very cool hotel. Gorgeous view from the balcony of the sunset and the sea (we had sea view). Breakfasts are limited (4 options), but delicious. One minus, but it is the same for all hotels on this line - there were no sun loungers. Everyone, like dogs, lies on towels. Uncomfortable and hard. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent, we were met from the pier and taken to the pier, although we did not request it, it was very nice. Divine soft slippers. Comfortable beds.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sairee Sairee. Great location and hospitality. Nook is the man to go to if you have any questions: extremely friendly and helpful. Loves Manchester United. Awesome dude. The hotel rooms are situated behind the restaurant (must try the pizza: very delicious). This helps to block out the noise coming from the main street. Also, there is a bike rental place directly across from the hotel which is extremely convenient. Highly recommend staying at Sairee Sairee.

Great accommodation and friendly staff. We wanted to rent a scooter but they ask for your passport as a deposit so we rented a scooter from someone else. I also don't understand that you give your passport as a deposit, then you are really stupid. Paying with credit card costs you 5% extra on the amount you want to pay, also not really service-oriented. Furthermore, we had a great stay and you are picked up from the pier and also brought and they sell boat tickets to Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.

Una maravilla de hotel, a pocos pasos de la preciosa playa de Sairee Beach. Nos alojamos en la suite Luna de miel y fue un acierto, una especie de cabaña preciosa con vistas al mar y la piscina infinita del hotel. La atención del personal fue fantástica. La habitación muy bonita, con ventanales hacia el mar y una terraza perfecta para tomar algo y ver el atardecer. Lo recomiendo totalmente, nos ha encantado.

I would not recommend staying at Sairee Hut Resort. The place is extremely run down. Our room had no hot water, the shower drain was clogged and overflowing, and mosquitoes filled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep. However, what bothered me most was the resort’s treatment of animals. They keep wild birds confined in small cages out front, with barely any room to move, let alone fly. I’m not sure if this is cultural or meant for tourist entertainment since the birds can talk, but whatever the reason, it is cruel! Birds are meant to be free, not locked in cages for display. These birds were kept in the cages for the entire duration of our stay, and I can only imagine how long they’ve been trapped there. Overall, this resort was disappointing, both in its facilities and ethics. I would not stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay with friendly people. The cabin we stayed in was very nice and they arranged transportation from the hotel back to the pier. It is within walking distance of all kinds of nice shops and restaurants and also has a restaurant on the beach.

The location is nice and quiet, walking distance to other restaurants through the beach. The beach is very nice, clean and good for kids especially when the tide is low. Our Cabana was spacious, beautiful, although a bit dark. The water pressure was low and we didn’t have hot water. We asked them to fix it but it didn’t happen on time before our check-out. We stayed for two nights. The pool has a waterfall, and it looks a little run down. Nice view to the sea from the pool, though. The breakfast (included) was ok. Fruits, bread, but not many options for vegetarian/vegans in the menu. Dinners were good. Overall, a beautiful hotel, kind staff, great location, maintenance response could be better.

В отеле очень приветливый и гостеприимный персонал, завтрак не включен в стоимость, его можно заказать по меню за небольшую плату. В отеле можно снять байк, купить экскурсию на снорклинг и билеты на паром. Уезжали, как от родных. Спасибо за чудесный отдых.

Great little hotel right on the main beach of Koh Tao. Our standard room was huge with lots of room to unpack which made our stay very comfortable.
