Lovely place with lovely people! We stayed here 9 nights and we have eaten several breakfasts, lunches, bites and dinners here. The staff were very nice. It is clean. And the food and cocktails are cheap and good. No such thing as bees (as some nasty lady pretends in a review here, we heard her scream without reason and she was not civilised at all towards the staff! They showed her the place and her room before she agreed and payed for it.) The swimming pool is also clean and very romantic. If you go to Thailand you know you will encounter animals and wildlife. In our room (little bungalow near the swimming pool) we had zero bugs, spiders or whatsoever inside. Every day we got clean towels and drinking water and they clean the room. Yes sometimes you have to wait a little or things will not go as planned. Welcome to Thailand. Enjoy. It is one of the view quiet places left at Koh Tao also because of the garden with waterfall and Buddha’s. Within 200 meters you can buy food, get a massage and go towards the rest of the island. Over the past 30 years we have been several times to Koh Tao and this time we stayed at Fisherman’s for the first but certainly not for the last time!

Please don t go to this place !!! First night invaded by bees 🐝 at 2 o clock’s in the morning!! Nobody answered to help me !! Have been bitten… and they don’t want to geive my money back because I paid with credit cards!! I paused 369 euro even 100 euro !! Nothing

This spot suited our family perfectly. The kids were in the beautiful infinity pool at every opportunity, right on the beach and we filled up throughout the day with delicious fresh fruit smoothies, fab Thai food, and some western tummy fillers. Foreigners living locally as well as Thais and other tourists came to hang out in this chilled spot so there were other kids around to play with. The staff were really friendly and kind, and replenished our water and towels in our aircon rooms. The garden is lush and our stay was very peaceful. The location is great as we were able to swim out to or rent kayaks to get to incredible snorkelling spots on the calm bay. The sea water was shallow and calm enough for young children to play in. If you want a change of scene there are wonderful eating and drinking options a stroll along the beach, swings and hammocks on the beach, fruit bats to observe at night, the list goes on.

This place is an absolute Gem! Not only is the resort in the perfect spot for most of the snorkeling spots , the place itself is exquisite and the staff are extremely polite,warm and welcoming-which goes a long way! The food is amazing and extremely affordable compared to other resorts. The pool and bar area is by far top notch 👌 Don’t listen to any bad reviews for this place as these guys rock 😎 Well done guys keep it up ✌️

We stayed next door but used the restaurant and swimming pool each morning for breakfast and morning pool dip. We are here once in the evening also. The staff are super friendly, the smoothies and food were lovely. Usually consisted of pancakes, French toast and porridge. The pool is right next to the beach. I know there’s a few more choice of restaurants available in the area, this one has a nice vibe and it’s worth supporting

I loved this place located south of the main pier. It’s located on a beautiful little cove right on the beach front. The pool area is breath taking and the gardens and decor are wonderful. The food at the restaurant was very good too. My room was clean, safe, comfortable. And looked just like the photos online. This part of the island is very peaceful and the Ocean Sound Dive and Yoga, where I took a one day Try scuba lesson, was walking distance as were a few other good food places. The only down fall here is that none of the ATMs were in working order and I had to catch a ride to withdrawal money. However this is not the fault of the Fisherman resort, but future guests should be prepared. I enjoyed my first night so much I extended it to two nights and would happily go back again.
