Simple Life Cliff View Resort

This was a nice place to stay to be honest. It was cost efficient but also a very nice resort for being on a small island I was expecting it to be less but it did a good job of keeping up with standards of bigger islands or cities. Plumbing always worked, room was cleaned everyday, comfy bed, clean sheets, stylish room with a loft over looking the pools, was a little ant problem when I first arrived but they fixed that right away, beautiful view with cascading pools and a deck that looks out to the ocean. Definitely will stay there again.

Good introduce the snorkelling trip to us

Fabulous location. Walking distance down a slope to all the bars and restaurants ( beware if you struggle with uphill for on the way home) We stayed in the ocean view rooms which we were pleased with. There is some building work on the left, looking out to sea, but as you don't spend all day in the room it really wasn't an issue.

We had a great stay at Cliff View. The location is perfect - walking distance to Sairee beach but away from the noise. The pool was fabulous and the sun deck had great views over the ocean Breakfast buffet was varied and substantial. We did a day snorkelling trip through We Tours who operate from the hotel and that was super handy - the day trip was really fun and well organised

Difficult to review this place.Our boat was cancelled from Surat Thani to Koh Tao due to bad weather so we didnt make the first night here.Waiting at the pier when we arrived was a driver from the hotel so we got a free pick up to the hotel.BONUS.Room is beautiful with sea views and really comfortable.Couldnt have asked for a nicer view and walking distance to restaurants and the best of the Siaree beach area.The decking around the pool area is broken in places and in need of reapir.If you were coming home at night it would be dangerous and you could have a fall.Pools were nice but I didnt use them as we were just too busy.Reception staff and all other staff were good but one thing that really let this place down were the breakfasts.I can eat just about anything and love Thai food but not when everything is stone cold.I ended up getting eggs on toast only because they were hot.Cold rice,curries and just unedible and disappointing.Some changed need to be made there.The hot water in the room took 5 minutes to warm up and then pulsated but I noticed this all over the island.Look the seaview rooms are beautiful and the hotel is location location.Just need to fix the breakfasts or eat out.Would maybe stay here again or look for something a little further down the beach.Only got 2 days here to explore so needed more time

This resort is beautiful. The hard working staff keeps the property tidy. The drinking water they provide in the fridge comes in glass bottles in an effort to reduce the use of plastic. The hotel is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants on the beach. They were always willing to give a fresh towel. As with many buildings in Thailand, they have tiny little wood eating ants or termites which are harmless to humans, but annoying to those that are not used to such things.
