Gorgeous property, lovely staff and great drinks. The rooms are really clean, the pool was great and the balconies overlooked the edge of the mountains which made for a beautiful view. The bar closes at 9:30pm which is a little early but other than that I can’t fault it.

We stayed for four nights in November. First things first the staff were faultless, everyone including the owners were lovely and actually made our stay. The views were also to die for. The food and drink were also great. The hotel itself is quite remote, we didn’t have a bike so relied upon a friendly local taxi driver to get us round. The rooms were clean and nice, they were very basic. The mosquitos were pretty relentless and made it hard to sit out by the pool as we were just eaten alive. Overal I find it hard to fault anything in particular because the hotel is great, however if you are looking for luxury this doesn’t quite hit the mark

A different experience from your conventional hotel, but amazing. Nice staff, nice food in the restaurant, nice pool. Great, private taxi service to the town/beaches. We felt like we were in the tree tops in the bamboo structure rooms. Don't forget your mosquito spray, and cover up in the evening.

The only hotel during our Roadtrip I booked in advance because I really wanted to go there. It was my favorite hotel so far - the room was really pretty and the view from the balcony couldn’t be any better. The view from the pool was also really pretty (and good for pictures). The breakfast was à la carte and we could choose as much as we wanted. The staff was always helpful and really sweet! I had high expectations when it comes to that hotel and they were even exceeded!

This is the most wonderful place to stay. A lovely welcoming and small eco resort. Made mainly from bamboo and lime mixed with coconut fibre the rooms are amazingly luxurious and large. The staff and the manager - Cami are lovely, as is the owner Yves. They cannot do enough to help. There is a lovely vibe to this place and the intimacy of the restaurant, bar and pool area encourages you to mingle. I will definately return.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Kao Tao Eco Lodge, and we must say that everything went smoothly and was perfect. What struck us at first sight was the lodge's eco-friendly design. It seamlessly blended into the natural environment, with locally sourced materials and an architecture that perfectly complemented the beautiful surrounding landscape. It was evident that great care had been taken to minimize the lodge's ecological footprint without compromising on comfort. The staff at Kao Tao Eco Lodge were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The food was an absolute delight and the accommodations were very nicely furnished with stunning view of the surroundings. It was a haven of tranquility and serenity, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A huge thank you to the owner Yves and his team for this wonderful experience.
