The place itself gets 5 stars, as you'll see from the other reviews. We loved the room and the terrace and pool. However the location is hugely inconvenient without a motorbike. It's up a very steep hill which even hardy hill walkers like us struggle with in the Thai heat . Taxis in Koh Tao are few and far between so you can't rely on them unless you want to keep calling and waiting. Thoroughly recommended for experienced bikers who want to stay away from the crowds, but not those who prefer to get around on foot.
