"Great Swimming Pool - Amazing Poolside staff always smiling always helpful and amazingly friendly - Just lovely - All the th staff were just so so helpful smiling and genuinely lovely - But - Unfortunately the room I had overall was dirty and had really poor hygiene and cleanliness levels - The Bathroom and shower were disgusting - I very politely and nicely asked the hotel to clean the Shower and Bathroom Areas - They did but not to a great level and it was still quite dirty - Apart from the cleanliness of the Rooms - Overall and mainly due to the fabulous Smiling Staff the Hotel is a great choice and only 5 minutes walk to the beach and nearby Amenities 👌🏼🫶🏼💯...."

"Great location, quiet place, next to the beach, nice beach, recommended for who are looking for swimming in the sea,I was selected pool access room that was great room, large area with the big bath tub and easy to assess to the pool, in this hotel have 2 swimming pools that comfortable for family or group of friends, staffs all friendly and helpful."

"Great pool, clean part of the beach, close enough to walk to lots of cafes and shops. We booked as a family on one booking but were told at check-in we would have to stay in separate areas of the hotel… this was very disappointing as we had requested rooms close together. Manager wasn’t that friendly when we asked to change room to be closer together. Most staff working at resort were friendly and it was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"We had a fabulous stay at Chaweng Cove, the staff can't do enough to help and appease you, location is perfect away from chaweng strip which is very busy. Breakfast was excellent fresh eggs cooked anyway you prefer, beach is narrow but we loved the big waves and lazing on the loungers, if you really want to get a lounger by the pool area get up early as they are all gone by let say the older generation don't know why you want to sit by a pool all day can do that anywere. Trips we like the Ethical elephant sanctuary which was nice and you feed the elephants and get loads of pictures. Zipwire experience was great fun 9 different zip line but go early as it gets very busy later in the day"

"The hotel is a bit old but kept in good conditions. It’s super clean and the staff are very nice! Right in the middle of everything and in front of the beach with a nice reef you can go snorkeling and find beautiful fish. Will stay again for sure!"

"I was placed in a room that overlooked the staff entrance so had the noise of them chatting on breaks and coming and going on their scooters so was a bit noisy. The phone in the room wasn’t connected, so just a prop I guess? The fridge defrosted and stopped working. They replaced this but with a European plug (using my only adaptor). Turns out that the plug port had blown so I had to lose some food and find another socket in the room (could not supply me with a replacement adaptor). The teaspoon was dirty and I had to ask to have a tv provided. The shower wouldn’t work hot. The pressure of the hot water wasn’t enough to keep the valve to feed the shower, open. On arrival I used the “luggage storage” which was just an area where everyone dumped their luggage (open plan next to reception) when I came back to check in, my rucksack wasn’t there. It was erroneously taken with another guests luggage. My passport and cash/cards were enclosed so luckily they managed to locate it. The hotel is a bit dilapidated and needs attention. Overall the staff are great and hard workers, the owner clearly lets the place down."

"Fast check in. Room available early. House keeping to the highest standards. Safe for children and kids club is one the was made with kids in mind first rather than an add on later. Much entertainment included, film nights with pop corn stands and buffets, neon disco, and buffet breakfast with a wide variety of international food and treats however, this list is not limited. Special requests were always met and exceeded my expectations. The location is directly on the strip of Fisherman’s Village, and close to CoCoTams where there is a fire show each night. To Chewang area, it is a 15 minute taxi/tactic ride. VIP taxi outside resort cost 500tbh (€6) for 1 adult and 1 child. Finally, the nights sleep was bliss. I wish I could have brought home the pillows."

"Celes Samui is a great hotel in a lovely, quiet, and relaxing spot — just a 10-minute walk from Fisherman’s Village. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. The restaurant food was delicious and breakfasts were very good. The beds are quite firm, which may not suit everyone, though the bedding itself was very good. The staff experience was mixed. Some were absolutely wonderful — especially the girl with the short dark hair at reception, who was friendly and helpful every day, along with the restaurant staff and the guys on the front gate. However, others weren’t as friendly, and at times even came across as aggressive. Check-in and check-out weren’t overly welcoming, and one housekeeper was very abrupt when I asked for extra towels and refused to leave until I gave her two towels which I didn’t actually have! The beach is beautiful to look at, but after about a metre in, the bottom is slimy, which made swimming less enjoyable. Because of this, we left for a few days to enjoy Lamai, which has a much more breathtaking beach. It’s a short cab ride away. All in all, I would still recommend Celes Samui — it’s a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with clean rooms and excellent food. But I didn’t find the staff friendliness as consistent as other reviewers have described, which was a bit disappointing."

"Amazing place with the wonderful staff (kind,helpful,friendly and always smile on the face).Welcoming delicious coconut ice cream include!I booked the room with the ocean view - amazing view,comfortable,luxury one.Hotel is super clean.The breakfast was always fresh including the fresh tropical fruits,drinks etc.Also the hotel has the restaurant - prepared always the fresh local and non local food.Rhe hotel has also clean and nice swimming pool,privete beach witch is just down the stairs.The hotel also offers free towels for the beach,no need to bring your own.The Fisherman village is also not far away.Around this place you can take the taxi or ask the hotel staff and visit places around like Big Buddha etc. I fully recommended!!!"
