Great stay at Rummana. Location isn't exactly the best on the beach, but it's much more peaceful and relaxed than the main area, and still has solid options for dining and such.

Wonderful hotel! Upon arrival there was fresh fruit in the room. An aroma lamp is lit in the bathroom, and because of it or for some other reason, there are no insects in the room, but in neighboring hotels people complained about mosquitoes.
The area is surrounded by greenery, birds sing, fish swim. Everything is in the shade, autumn is comfortable.
The room is cleaned well. The food is also excellent. Linen and towels are snow-white and of good quality.
In the morning you can watch the sunrise from the hotel grounds. The only drawback of the hotel is the presence of "hairy" stones in the sea. In this connection, they went 500 meters away, because... further on the beach there is no connection to the sea. I wouldn’t go with children for this reason, but together it’s great!
There is a swimming pool for children.
The area is clean, the reception is always ready to help.
The restaurant is right next to the beach and they also provide beach towels.

The resort is on Lamai Beach. Almost all Europeans live in the hotel, especially French and Germans, with very few Chinese. The deepest feeling is that the roads inside the resort are very winding. On the first day I rented a car, I went to the city center. Unfortunately, I was caught by the police without wearing a helmet and was fined 500 baht. But this has something to do with the hotel, because when I rented the car, I asked the hotel if they had helmets. The hotel said they did, but they didn't give them to me. Later, when I brought the ticket to the front desk and asked for an explanation, the front desk said they didn't know I was going to the city, so they didn't give it to me, and they didn't say they would bear the fine.
