The hotel at on the beach. It is in Bophut part of Koh Samui. It is on the edge of the beach. Unfortunately the beach area where the hotel is located is not nice. You cannot swim it. You need to walk down maybe 200 feet or so to find a suitable part of the beach. The pool is nice if albeit small. But it is nice to be on the beach and enjoy the sea view. The bar in the hotel is good although I did not drink. The rooms are nice. Lots of space. Bathroom large.

The room is relatively simple, and the domestic water is a bit salty, which I am not used to. The facilities are quite old. Maybe February is the peak season and the house price is a little more expensive because it's so close to fishman village. The service of an ordinary B&B. The beach is also very ordinary. You can get up early and take a walk along the beach. The convenient place is that you can have breakfast when you go out, and there are many choices for lunch and dinner. Very convenient. The most cost-effective food on the last day on the island is on the left hand side when you leave. The cocktails from the bar guy are pretty good.

Excellent location right on the beach, and the pool is also right on the beach. Very nice rooms, directly overlooking the sea, beautiful garden with bar and pool. Breakfast was available on request. A coffee machine was always available, coffee was free. Right at the beginning of the shopping street of Fishermsns Village. Very well located.

Real disappointment and I don't like writing negative reviews. We had booked the 2-bedroom room for 3 nights but stayed only one, for many reasons. First, the online photos seem to be outdated. The furniture is not in a good state, the bathroom is really reduced to a minimum. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner provided, but in jugs so mosquitoes float dead in them and the conditioner could not even be poured as it had obviously sat there for too long. The room was invaded by mosquitoes. The towels had big holes in them and the sheets were stained. The pool is also getting old, visibly patched but definitely not sea water. The beach is not one... we wouldn't swim there as sewage pipes seem to get right into the water. We decided to leave after one night without discussing the non refundable policy, but the manager had the non decency to 1. Not ask why we were leaving so soon (did he really care?) 2. Make us pay for breakfast composed of 4 pieces of toast and an apple juice (some might find it normal, I personally don't!).

Lovely friendly atmosphere everyone made us so welcome really made our stay in Samui absolutely perfect. Another great thing was the location we loved everything was just walking distance and also the view of the sea from our room. we hope to come back again some time in the future.

If you're expecting a 5 star hotel - this isnt it nor does it pretend to be. But, it's the friendlist Hotel we've ever stayed at. Owners live on-site and can't help enough - just like staff. It's an old Resort at the quite end of Fisherman's villiage but only a 10 minute leisurely walk to the Market street past lots of great places to shop and eat. It has a great pool which overlooks the ocean. Rooms are basic, but cleaned daily, our air con and fan worked well and were new. There was lots of hot water in the shower. The beach seems to change from pretty good to not so good depending on the tides. The Bar was open with a great bar tender. We had breakfast daily at the Hotel - but you had to tell them you wanted breakfast. We also ate breakfast at the Hut 30 seconds away as well as wonderful inexpensiveThai food. All of which can be delivered to your room or the pool. Highly recommended for a family or those just wanting to have fun & join in.

Expensive in comparison to another we had just left at the same price. No breakfast! Scruffy place needs a serious tidy up - just even redecorate. One pathetic little very cheap bedside light not enough to read a book! Very small TV Noisy bar till midnight But Nice location & friendly staff Not recommended

I loved my stay here! The bungalows were cute, I loved the garden view but could also see the ocean from my terrace. The pool was perfect for cooling off, and I loved sitting at the beach bar sipping a cold beverage and chatting to the other guests. The staff were faultless. There is no restaurant here but you can order from a great Thai place across the street and they will deliver your food to the resort. There was a really friendly, personable feel to this place that you do not get in the bigger resorts. The location was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The staff here are lovely as usual in Thailand. The place is more than tired and needs investment. It is opposite a couple of bars and a small restaurant. Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay. The beach isn’t the best the sea just under the surface outside the hotel is impossible to walk on with very sharp rocks under the sea. It’s only two minutes walk in to fisherman’s village where its busy with restaurants and entertainment. There’s a school opposite where the teacher talks to the kids with a loud hailer that seems to go on for an eternity from about 7.30 its over priced imo

I stayed at the Waterfront Boutique Hotel for two weeks and found a diamond of a place that has a calm relaxing vibe- The room was basic however, a good size with a comfy bed, air con, fan, small bar fridge and walk in open shower. The room faced the ocean, and the garden was lined with hedges of beautiful red ixora flowers and other colourful potted plants. There were two large nut trees facing the beach that provided deep shade and sun lounges were provided. It was a great spot to read , catch the sea breeze that comes through every 10 mins and have an afternoon snooze- The pool overlooks the Gulf of Thailand and you can see other islands, speed boats, yachts, sea eagles, herons, swallows while sipping a cocktail, smoothie or beer in the pool or at the pool bar. Watching the storms develop in the Gulf was exhilarating and feeling the wind followed by rain to cool the landscape- Yoga classes were being offered on the lawn three times a week - The night markets are only a 7 min walk up the road and good for buying gifts along with many amazing restaurants serving very tasty food- So yes, if you like a friendly, quiet, calm relaxing place to stay, love to swim, look at the sea, love nature and like value for money - this is the place for you-

New Canadian owners who are upgrading. Botique Hotel with 18 rooms - very comfortable beds, good air cons, and lots of hot water. It's such a happy place - we had so much fun there - it's like a big family. Super bartender, breakfast was amazing. Beautiful gardens. Right on the beach and their pool is open 24/7. Great staff - so helpful.

Don’t go to this place. It al looks nice in the pictures, but absolutely not in real life. The rooms are small and dirty, black mold in the curtains. There is some weird channel through the beach, it is not possible to swim. Next the pool was a big excavator, which was very weird. Next the to the hotel was a big building side with a hard banging noise all the time. After two hours whe decided to leave. But we than had to talk to the very crazy owner, who is, I think mentally not 100%.

This hotel is on the re-build trail with new owners since February. Their restoration is very sympathetic with a lot of attention being paid to the gardens around the hotel, which is worth the effort, given the beautiful spot they occupy. Staff are superb and couldn't be more helpful (helped arrange trips and hiring scooters). The sea at this spot on the beach is very shallow, so if you want swimming you'll look elsewhere, as the pool is a dip pool rather than a swim pool. They've got a brilliant barman, who know his way around cocktails( as well as patent cures for sea urchin spines I must say!). Hotel is well located at the quiet end of the Fisherman's Village. Bit of extra shelf space for when you unpack would be handy, mind.
