March Samui Resort

Location is a quite place, but so far from entertainment sites, many bars and restaurants near sea, also so much supermarkets like BigC and 7/11. Clean swimming pool, everyday housekeeping, but inside room thin walls, and sometimes there's be loudy tourists. Maenam beach isn't good for swimming because has low water level, and also I don't like rocks and seaweed, kayak station on Maenam beach partly resolve this problem. If you want to go on boat excursion there is two Pier, Nathon on the west and Plalarn on the east. I would like to note that the hotel has very good internet speed.

The place is okay, near to the beach and mostly provides  the basic needs. The staff are nice. However the following are the things I observed that can be improved. 1. The water tastes bad, maybe like rusty or what. 2. No garbage bin inside the room, only in the toilet. 3. They provide coffee and water but no stirrer and the mug is so small. 4. The bedsheet has many holes and rips. 5. The faucet handles are placed clockwise, which is awkward to use. 6. The toilet paper is placed near the shower so it gets wet every time. 7. The refrigerator turns off when the key card is removed.  Those are just minor things, and overall is not bad for the price.

Beautiful place to stay, the staff are kind and helpful. Close to the beach and some amazing restaurants! We extended our stay on the second day as it is perfect for a relaxing trip. Lovely pool and lots of beautiful plants in the garden area.

Wow! The accommodation at March resort is perfect. I like the concept of small individual houses so much. You will be settled in a tiny house looking accomodation with a small sitting area outside "your house" and the pool view. They clean the rooms every day and change towels and provide water bottles. It's very quiet and only birds or swimming water splashes from the swimming pool can wake you up in the morning. Convenience store is just right next to the resort and the beach is just across the street. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, massage shops there are even two travel offices nearby (take right when you exit the resort and on 400m distance you will see them) where you can buy tickets for ferry, train/bus back to Bangkok or other places) and local tours. Note that there is no tooth brush and toothpaste in the room but you can easily buy one in the 🏪. The place is not in downtown area so if you are planning to book a tour, the most likely you will be charged additional 300thb for pick up/drop off service.
