We checked in on 02/22 at Saikaew Beach Resort, and our experience has been a bit mixed so far. While the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, the issues we encountered at the beach restaurant were disappointing. Despite seeing several available tables, we were told they couldn’t accommodate us, especially during the fire show time. We were kindly asked to move, only to find that the area wasn’t even used for the show.
As hotel guests, we were surprised there wasn’t more consideration for us, especially in such a situation. It felt like there was a lack of coordination, and it left us feeling frustrated. Kero, the Guest Service Manager, was nice enough to offer us free cocktails as a gesture to make up for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. However, it didn’t fully address the frustration we experienced. We reported the issue to Kero, and we hope that improvements will be made for future guests so they don’t encounter similar issues.
The resort is decent overall, but there’s certainly room for improvement, particularly when it comes to guest experience and organization. We hope they take these concerns seriously to provide a smoother stay for future guests.
