The Joy Beach Villas

As soon as we arrived, a taxi was organized for us from the ferry port in Thong Sala to the resort, we didn't have to worry about anything. At the "Joy Beach Villas", the owner Markus and his charming partner Christine welcomed us warmly and showed us everything we needed to know. We liked the bungalow straight away. A nice big terrace (insider tip: lounge chair!), a separate kitchen with fridge, air conditioning in the living and sleeping areas, and a new bathroom. We immediately felt at home and welcome. The complex itself is very well maintained (daily garden, pool and bungalow maintenance, bed linen and towels are changed every three days), the pool area is perfect for splashing around and for children to have hours of fun. The view of the sunset, with a small bottle of Singha beer in hand, is something you won't soon forget. Services are also offered directly at the resort. We booked mountain bikes and 125cc motorbikes directly on site without any problems. We once had a flat tire on one of our motorbikes, about 6-7 km from the resort. One phone call was enough, the motorbike was picked up and a new one was there the next day. That's holiday and service in Thailand, chapeau. The resort is right on the beach in DIRECT proximity to great (Thai and international) restaurants, a supermarket, a laundry, a fitness centre and a fruit stand. One big negative point for us, however, was that we had to drive home again and the holiday was over. Ich bin seit Mitte Januar 2025 durchgehend in Asien auf Reisen. Diese Unterkunft war mit eine der schönsten in meiner Reisezeit. Sehr geschätzt habe ich auch die Herzlichkeit des Betreibers und sämtlicher Angestellten. Hervorheben möchte ich auch die praktizierte Mülltrennung der Anlage. Zudem gibt es in der Umgebung alles was man zum Wohlbefinden braucht. Top Empfehlung 👍
