The highlight staying at Baan Suan is definitely the passionate hospitality of host Lily, would is happy to go above and beyond to help make your Koh Kood stay fun and memorable.
I stayed at the standard room, which looked a bit different to the photos, generally clean but beware of flying ants at night when you have your lights on, and also for small geckos and the likes (toilet and shower is also outside of room, which is something not mentioned at booking, for people who are wary of mosquitos and other insects going to the bathroom at night might want to consider an upgrade in room).
Location is on the main road 10 easy mins walk to Bang Bao beach. Otherwise there's restaurants and cafés within 15mins walk either direction of road.
All in all, recommended to stay here if you'd like a homefeel to the chilled vibes of Koh Kood!

Stayed for four nights. The lady boss is very enthusiastic and a very nice person. She cooks delicious food. You must try the tamagoyaki rice cooked by the lady boss at her house. The room is very cozy and feels like home. They also thoughtfully provided umbrellas. There is a Burmese employee named Zarni who works very hard and cleans very well.

Very good guest house, small number of rooms, privacy felt. Also liked the location, close to Bang Bao beach, delicious breakfasts (6 types to choose from: American breakfast, smoothie and yogurt bowls, waffles, pancakes, fruit options). The homestay was truly amazing! The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff (especially Lily) was incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a very good restaurant right across the street, the new ATM is about a 5-10 minute walk away, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is located near Siam Beach, which is absolutely beautiful!

I agree with all the reviews about the friendly attitude of the hostess. Thanks to her for helping with some issues. We had a clean, fairly large room, a good bed and bed linen. The air conditioner is well adjusted, it doesn't blow on the bed. Breakfasts are delicious, from the menu, but there's not much to choose from: either scrambled eggs or fruit or pancakes/waffles. But we weren't hungry. There was no refrigerator, but you can leave it in the refrigerator at the reception. And without a bike, it's still far to the sea, you can't stay in the heat.

Excellent guest house. Breakfasts were included. The hostess is hospitable and very nice, she explained everything and gave a map and told me which locations to go to. The room is clean, the air conditioner is new in the room. The water pressure in the shower is good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea. The beach is beautiful. There were no Russians in the hotel, only Europeans, which I really liked. The mini-hotel is located next to the main road, but the house itself with the rooms is further. It is quiet and nice everywhere. There is a bike rental per day for 300 baht. I really liked the mini-hotel, I would be happy to stay there again.
