Tinkerbell Resort @ Koh Kood

I had an amazing time during my stay at Tinkerbell. The atmosphere was so peaceful. If you’re looking for a place to relax and not crowded, Tinkerbell is definitely a choice. The food was great. Plus, there is a kayak free for in-house guests. The guard will take care of you if you want to go kayaking.

Rlght on the beach, early morning and sunset is hlgh tlde. Best tlme for swim. At nlght Netflix account is included, it gets really quite at this part of the island.

I would like to thank the team at Tinkerbell Resort Hotel from the bottom of my heart. I spent two unforgettable weeks with my mother away from civilisation on the beautiful island of Koh Kood and all the two weeks we were surrounded by the care and warmth of the wonderful people working in this hotel! Lovely, friendly and helpful, they were always willing to help. I would like to say a special THANK YOU to the restaurant team, they are all not only very pleasant in communication, but professionals. Special thanks to Khun Thach Chheang she did a wonderful job along with her team - Laeng Rin, Sarorn So and Charlotte! Thank you very much dear girls, we love you and miss you a lot! You made us smile every morning when we entered the restaurant and every evening when you opened another bottle of Prosecco with great professionalism! We have warm memories of you! We would also like to mention the excellent work of the front desk, thank you Tihlaree! The ladies who gave us a wonderful, very professional massage every day - Nit and Anny, thank you! Thank you to the bartender - Tung for a wonderful job! Unfortunately we don't know the rest of the staff names, but we would like to say thank you to all of them - room cleaners, gardener, pool and beach staff and cleaners. They all work very hard to make your stay pleasant! The location of the hotel is also very pleased, the bungalow is right on the beach! What else can you want when you are on the island:)! Of course, it would be nice to renovate the hotel a little (light renovation of the rooms, because in some places the plaster is falling off). But believe me, these are all small things compared to the great attitude you are surrounded by when you stay at Tinkerbell Privacy Resort Koh Kood!

Where to start? How this hotel is the number 1 rated in Koh kood is beyond me. I was in Beach Villa 5 and my room absolutely stank, I couldn't sleep because of the horrible smell. Everything was damp, I felt like I was laying in wet bedsheets. The room was extremely tired, the sunbeds on the beach outside my villa had holes in the fabric and bird poo on. i woke up in the night and went to the bathroom and there was a HUGE cockcroach in the sink, the size of my fist, it was disgusting. I felt like the room was full of bugs and couldnt sleep. The doors that went out onto the beach didnt lock properly sp the room felt unsafe. Breakfast selection was awful. Staff not friendly at all, they never sent my pickup so the Hideout gave me a transfer instead. Rude service at the bar, and my cocktail was very average. The positive is its location on one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Kood. I didn't like any other part of it. Value for money was terrible. Genuinely confused by the good reviews

I would give 10 stars if possible... This resort is amazing. Very small but with a good attention for details. I stayed in beach villa 1 and it was wonderful to have your own piece of private beach at your footsteps. I have to say that the staff was doing an amazing job - sometimes I had the feeling that there is more staff than actual tourists in the 16 villas they have. Very good wifi (the tv with netflix was a nice touch), the option to have in room massage was also nice and the food was amazing from breakfast to dinner. This is probably one of the best beached in Koh Kood and will definitely come back.

We love rustic, beautiful beach resorts where you can truly get away from it all - Tinker Bell fits the bill. The beach is truly beautiful - powder white sand, crystal clear water with no rocks, garbage, or other obstructions. The rooms are rustic - if you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. However, between the food, service, and serenity - on balance we truly enjoy this getaway. Twice we have bought the package of activities and both times have enjoyed - no need to think about what to do, what and where to eat, and how to dress - this is a paradise. While not easy to get to (fly, van, ferry, truck - 4 hours total) it is always worth the effort.
