First visit here and it will be last time , i check in, surprised that my room is not sea view like application recommended The more surprise is staff only tell me, he has proved that it is not his hotel fault (i dont know how, and dont know process or advertise that hotel or app do it , im very upset) he noticed that it is app fault and if i dont appreciated (he can refund＞＞＞ that means you have no accommodation) What can i say....

Good view and the beast place for rest

Beachfront accommodation, beautiful beach, reasonably priced accommodation, quiet, peaceful, far from the pier. Traveling requires renting a car.

Quiet, like escaping from the busy city into a zone of nature. and your own thoughts, beautiful views, clean sandy beaches, mountains, the sea, everything is perfect for a long vacation. That has to be reserved for another week. The staff take very good care of them, are friendly, helpful, and pay attention to the guests in small details. Stir-fried noodles are delicious like at home but very satisfying 😁💝🌈🙏

The hotel is very well located! By the sea 30 meters. The sea is gorgeous. There are no random tourists. Calm and quiet! The houses are at a good distance from each other. There is good air conditioning, no refrigerator or TV. Breakfast is not very good (. At the reception - the girl is very helpful if there are any problems, thanks to her!

Warm, friendly helpful staff comfortable rooms with all you need. This is not 5 star luxury, but is so much more, people doing their best, going that bit further. Ohhhhh and the beach stunning never saw more than 40 people on it... Comfortable cabins we had 17and 18 which looked bigger. It's not a Hilton or a Marriott or the like but is much more fun. Island life island pace ....

i think this is the best beach on koh kood. it is very beautiful and quite. there are not many ppl on the beach at all time. i-lay is the resort that has the rooms closest to the beach. the rooms are about 15 yards to the beach. the staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. there are kayaks and paddle boards that we can use free of charge. we enjoy the stay and will definitely come back.

ILay House was a perfect choice for our relaxing two week beach paradise relaxation vacation. First (her nickname) (a fellow Canadian) and her brother are amazing hosts who know how to take care of all guest needs and also take great care of their staff. The location is on the best beach on the island, the beach is pristine peaceful and picturesque. The accommodations are waterfront with amazing sunsets views. Rooms are clean well appointed with AC and hot showers, beds are clean but a little hard for us soft Canadians. The grounds are maintained every day and food is the best in the area. With a full American style breakfast we started the day off just right each day. Should we come back this way Koh Kood is a friendly safe destination and we would recommend you stay at ILay

Stay away from this bungalow complex, I travel a lot in Asia, but I've never experienced anything like it. And the nightmare also cost an outrageous 2500 baht per night, because unfortunately we booked at short notice while walking on the beach at the reception and not through Agoda or ***********, because then the flop would have cost at least half as much. The beach is a dream, but there are plenty of other dream beaches here on the island, The bungalow is unkempt and old, you could also only lock the door if you locked it with the key. Stupid if you want to leave the bungalow early and your partner is still asleep. Luckily we were able to find a solution that wasn't exactly the best with our own tension belt. The equipment is completely old, the mattress was totally broken with squeaking springs and was rock hard, the duvet was an unhygienic covered woolen blanket. It was just "ugh". In addition, there was the disgusting fish stench behind the house from the klong when the tide receded and so I always had to hold my breath in the wet room. There were hardly any loungers, so we just sat on our veranda or walked along the beach, Breakfast you can choose only one dish per day in the evening before. During the three nights we had no room service and towels were only changed on request.

This corner of Koh Kood cannot be described as really good value for money. The I-Lay stands out in a positive way. We booked a room, only to find out that it was supposed to be a permanent tent -??!-. So we rebooked because we were expecting a bungalow. It worked after some replanning by the owner of the small resort. The owner really tried hard, was nice and friendly. But it was an emergency solution, as it was fully booked. The bungalow was not supposed to be rented out. Why? Well, everything was fine!!! On the 3rd day of our holiday, a thunderstorm rained down during the night for several hours. (Anyone who has experienced this in Thailand knows what I am talking about.) Tons of water without end. At some point the roof under my bed gave way and it started leaking through. What? I took it with humor. It is just a resort suitable for everyday use. 3 hours later everything was dry again anyway. Absolutely positive: friendliness. If you want to get into the "flow" of the resort, it is a top destination for relaxation. You "slow down". And it's immediately part of the resort. Choose breakfast the night before (no buffet - why throw away 40% of the breakfast buffet afterwards???). Good! Unlimited coffee (unfortunately only instant - my only criticism!!!!). Scooters are also available for hire. We got the newest one with just 80km on the clock and really broke it in. The thing was really "toxic" afterwards! Conclusion: If you don't need "blinking" "blinking" and "fancy stuff", this is a fantastic place. (I don't need anyone to clean up after myself). Overall, an absolute recommendation - but not for club vacationers!!!

Hotel to be avoided. We made a mistake in making our reservation through ******* (March 2024 instead of February 2024). We canceled this reservation on the same day and did not reserve our dates in February because they were full. Despite several emails to the hotel, they do not want to refund (60€) even though they have probably re-rented this room. They make no business sense and other comments are not complimentary...

Located on perhaps the most beautiful beach on the island, above all because being large it is not particularly affected by the tides and can be used all day, this resort offers small bungalows 10 steps from the sea which perhaps lack some precautions and spaces, but overall the location and excellent quality/price ratio make up for the defects. Very satisfying breakfast to choose from the night before, attentive and attentive staff, cleaning and linen change every 3 days.

the beach is great but the hotel is very average, no internet in the bungalows, supposedly broken recently but already in September tourists also complained about this problem, so for internet you have to be in the restaurant. The boss is very, very, very unpleasant and that's saying something. I rented 2 rooms, one the hot water was broken and I got yelled at when I asked how long it took to be repaired. room too small, no space for luggage, not very well maintained, cleaning every 3 days, light too dim for reading. just the beach is beautiful the rest is rubbish.
