Koh Jum Beach Villas "A member of Secret Retreats"

This place is as amazing. The service was superb. The villa we stayed in was just perfect, our kiddos just loved it. Eak the barman was next level, the best cocktails I’ve had. Mr Sing took exceptional care of our kids in the evening, he took them ‘crabbing’. The trip across to Phi Phi was another highlight. I just cannot speak more highly of the whole experience staying at Koh Jum. It is certainly not a party resort, super duper quiet, just a fantastic place to relax and forget about the world for a week or two.

A truly special place. It’s quiet and relaxing with a beach that you often have to yourself. The villas are luxurious. We had a private pool villa with a kitchen, full-size fridge, dining area and large sitting area, in addition to the beautiful bedroom and outdoor shower. We loved that the windows opened completely on every side to give the feel of open-air living. The staff are the best. We had everything we needed. The tuk tuk tour is recommended—the front staff will arrange it for you. If you have time, take a yoga class, get a massage, and take a walk around the organic garden. Also, the restaurant serves excellent food, veggies from the garden. For dinner, we picked from the freshly caught seafood, prepared however you prefer. Highly recommended: fried calamari and sweet Thai chili dipping sauce!

Amazing staff, great food, everything is very clean and you don’t have to worry about anything. I really like that there is a fitness room. The best part are the private pools, it’s refreshing not to hear children scream every time you want to hop in the water.

We spent a week at Koh Jum Villas in July and I can confirm all the previous reviews are right. It was just a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The environment was stunning with each of the villa secluded from each other by lush planting. Our villa, Bann Sabai could accommodate six people and was enormous with a fabulous private pool. The fridge was stocked with a great selection of drinks. The villa was kept spotlessly clean by the amazing staff who came twice a day. Breakfast was buffet style but you could request eggs cooked anyway and everyday they would kindly get me a latte in a mug as the cup was just not enough caffeine for me! We ate at the restaurant on site every night as there was a large selection of Thai and European food all of which was cooked to perfection. Thai massages were "enjoyed" by all during the week and a TukTuk tour around the island was also a highlight when we had a go at natural rubber processing (walking on it to flatten it out). From the moment we were picked up at their private jetty to the Island on a long tail boat till when we sadly left we were made to feel the most important people. My daughter had her birthday when we were there and the birthday cake and rendition of happy birthday was very memorable. If we get the chance to return to Thailand we will definitely book to return.
