Family run business (Bas and his mother are lovely people and surprised my wife on her birthday!) that really cares about the customer and the quality they receive. Stayed in the Chaba bungalow and the coziest we experienced in our travels in Thailand. Semi private beach with free use of kayaks and paddle boards. Waters calm and nice for swimming, the pool equally so. Most northern part of the island making a tranquil island into even more of one. Getting a scooter is highly recommended for moving around the island.

I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. From the moment I arrived, it felt like a home away from home. This family-owned, villa style hotel is filled with warmth and hospitality, the people here welcomed me like family. My bungalow was absolutely beautiful, with air conditioning in the bedroom for ultimate comfort and a spacious wraparound deck that was perfect for my morning yoga sessions. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

The food was phenomenal.
The staff were so wonderful.
The setting is beautiful.
Buildings traditional.
The beach is a little rocky but the wonderful staff give you sea shoes on arrival.
It’s quiet, a proper spot to unwind and relax. If you’re looking for somewhere with plenty of dining options and lively, this isn’t it. But for ultimate wind down it’s perfect.

Well worth a visit
A fantastic place to visit for relax. Beautiful surroundings designed to help you find peace and enjoy Thailand at its best. The staff were very helpful in arranging excursions and transportation, and genuinely interested in the guests. Clean and tidy both inside and out.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is on a remote and sparsely populated island. It has the most beautiful views, easy access to the beach and swimming in the ocean, ready transportation ad needed, attentive staff and owners and the best chicken massaman curry you will ever put in your mouth. This place is special - don’t tell anyone.

We had a spectacular visit to Ko Pu because of our accommodations at Banyan Bay Villas. Our villa was the large one with 2 beds and 2 baths and it was clean and cool. We especially loved the deck with comfy recline chairs. The staff was extremely accommodating and the food was 10/10. This is a traditional, rustic setting right on the sea. We rented scooters and explored the island. We began our trip in Tokyo then on to 2 weeks all over Vietnam and ended at Ko Pu which was, by far, our favorite part of the nearly month long vacation.
