Hello. It was the best hotel I stayed in Thailand🧡. The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness were very good. The rooms are cleaned every day. Hair caps, soap, toilet paper and coffees are replenished. There was also a kettle in the rooms. There is always hot water. The room is very nice. The seating area is pleasant. In short, a great hotel. The location is far from the city center. It is close to the beach and it is always possible to find shade under a tree. The hotel also provides motorbike rental and laundry services.

Stayed @ this lovely place from 24 to 28 Nov. Enjoy my sojourn and wished to extend my appreciation to the hotel staff for their warm hospitality, especially to Tiri who had endeavored to help me & my friend secure a last minute booking with a tour agency for a day tour to Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park. Even though she did not managed to secure a booking for us with the tour agency, we really appreciate her valiant effort. The room was nice, more or less similar to what you see in the posted pictures. The view from the balcony was excellent too, as you can see from my video. I love the part where they placed a resting couch at the balcony, which is apt for just lazing & enjoying the seaview across. & not forgetting the very inviting infinity pool with the marvelous view across the sea. Definitely a instagram-able spot. The housekeeping was prompt & the room was very well kept thru out my stay. The restaurant was good as well, I enjoyed the breakfast which was quality & quite a spread for me. Price was quite reasonable too, in my opinion. Alright asides from the niceties, there're a few things which I think is worth pointing out. 1) There aren't any elevator in the hotel, so the stairs are the only option. I would advise checking in early before evening, when the reception will be able to arrange for a staff to bring your luggage up to your room. Else, u're gonna have bring it up yourself. 2) The place is relatively remote & far from the other hotspots in Samui like Chaweng or Lamai. 1 way to Chaweng will prob take around 35 -45 mins depending on traffic. However, there are plenty of shops & outlets nearby for dinning, massage or to simply grab some groceries or necessities. You really gotta chk out the nearby Bang Por Beach, which is a quiet idyllic beach with an lovely view of the opposite island Ko Pha Ngan. Oh yeah, I fly my drone there too, & the view is awesome too. I would seriously recommend renting a motorbike or car to get around. Else, u can try exercising those limps by walking up & down the hill (The hotel is perched on top of a hill, thus the excellent vantage pt). Regardless, I think this hotel is a great place for couples & families looking a quiet idyllic spot, away from the hustle & bustle or the furor of commercial tourism. I would really consider coming back again in my future trip back to Samui...

I have come back to stay again 2 times already. The rooms are very good, spacious, with Netflix and youtube. The hotel and Trip.com provide very good service. And due to the heavy rain on the day of arrival, the ferry was announced. Which cannot travel to the hotel, Trip.com has helped to coordinate, making it possible to postpone the date of stay without additional fees. Very impressed

Wir sind beide knapp über 50 und reisen zweimal pro Jahr an die schönsten Flecken unserer Erde, bislang waren wir angefangen von nahezu allen Karibik-Inseln über Sansibar, einige Atolle auf den Malediven bis hin zu Sansibar, Kenia, einmal waren wir 2005 schon in Thailand-Phuket, was aber mit der Schönheit und dem Charme von Koh Samui bei weitem nicht mithalten konnte. Jedoch wussten wir von damals, dass Thailand zu Recht die Bezeichnung ”Land des Lächelns” trägt. Aber dieser Urlaub auf Koh Samui, in diesem traumhaft, romantischen, liebevoll angelegten Hotel TUI BLUE The Passage stellt neue Maßstäbe und wird uns ein Leben lang in Erinnerung bleiben! Beginnen wir mit der Insel: Koh Samui ist ein absoluter Traum und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Der, der es so ruhig haben möchte wie wir, der sollte die Westseite der Insel wählen, Partytiger die Ostseite mit dem Chaweng Beach (extremer) und dem Lamai Beach (dezenter). Wir haben uns für unseren Urlaub einen Roller gemietet und haben die Insel erkundet, haben sämtliche Aussichtspunkte besucht, sämtliche Strände besucht. Unser Fazit: Wir haben mit unserer Buchung im TUI BLUE The Passage voll ins Schwarze getroffen! Womit wir bei der Hotelbewertung an sich angekommen sind: Ein Strand wie aus dem Bilderbuch! Palmen ohne Ende, Traumstrand, Ruhe und Idylle, was genau das ist, was wir beide so sehr lieben. Das Hotel, wie auf all den Bildern schon bei der Buchung zu erkennen war, liebevoll angelegt. Ein Traum für Romantiker wie uns. Drei angenehm warme Pools, das Meer traumhaft warm, außer uns einige wenige Gäste zu sehen, wenn überhaupt. Die Lage wie gesagt an der Westseite, wer die Ruhe eines Hotels und diese Kulisse zu schätzen weiß und dennoch etwas erleben will, der sollte sich um einige wenige Euros einen Roller ausleihen, dieser kostet für über zwei Wochen so viel, wie bei uns in Österreich die Miete für einen einzigen Tag kosten würde. Zimmer: Wir hatten den Bungalow 305, es ist dies ein Pool Front Bungalow. Schön geräumig, im Eingangsbereich ein Sofa mit Tisch, weiter geht es in den geräumigen Schlafbereich, eine Türe führt in das ebenso geräumige Badezimmer/WC mit einer herrlichen Regendusche. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert wunderbar, das Zimmer ist durch die vielen Fenster sehr hell, man kann es aber komplett abdunkeln. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher samt Zutaten für Kaffee und Tee und jeden Tag bekommt man vier Flaschen Wasser. Es gibt auch noch einen großen Fernseher, jedoch ohne Deutsche Welle, wer jedoch als romantisches, sich liebendes Paar verreist, der hat abends mit diesem Ausblick aus dem Bett auf liebevoll beleuchtete Palmen ohnehin anderes im Sinn als fern zu sehen ;-) Das Zimmer wurde von den Zimmermädchen Tag für Tag perfekt gereinigt, sie sind nicht nur bezaubernd hübsch, sie leisten perfekte Arbeit und dies mit einer Freundlichkeit und einem Lächeln im Gesicht, unbeschreiblich. The biggest disappointment on Koh Samui. Unfortunately, all the negative reviews on Google Maps turned out to be a reality for us. We stopped by paying for a Villa for a month for 80 thousand baht, plus the same amount of deposit. Photos and reality are two different things. The first day we spent cleaning the room, removing dust and dead insects to put our stuff into shelves. The next day there was a terrible smell of sewage, and we could not use some rooms. We found a non-working shower and plumbing in terrible condition, water was flowing down the walls and plaster was falling. The room was completely unusable and we constantly had to call the staff to fix something. Then cockroaches appeared in the room! The staff did not react to this in any way. We wrote messages that were ignored. We asked for a refund to move out, as the housing is not worth it, but we were not given a clear answer. The last straw was the invasion of insects, we called for help from the staff, we had huge grasshoppers, beetles, flying creatures, we treated everything with spray — they rained down on us from the ceiling, I killed 40 pieces and then stopped counting, there were hundreds of them. All the doors were closed, but obviously in their housing where there is no constant care, there are cracks somewhere. They were still coming, we ran out of treatment, and we just had to run away without belongings in the middle of the night and look for a place to sleep, it was scary and disgusting to be there, because the staff just finished their working day and ignored all our requests to help. They have a ”wonderful” boss, Linda, who gives all orders and is apparently a con artist, collecting money and not maintaining her housing in an adequate condition, spitting on the guests. Since all our requests to return at least some of the money were ignored every day, and the problems were growing, we had to contact the police. When we returned to the hotel, we were greeted kind of aggressively after the police call, and were told that you can leave today or tomorrow. Again, no clear answer. We asked to clean and treat the room from insects so that we could go inside. When they made the decision, they immediately asked us to move out without warning in advance, we were shocked that they were kicking us out just in a matter of minutes, everything happened in a rough form and at a very late time, we didn't have time to find new housing and we found ourselves with suitcases on the street in the mountains at 22 o'clock, not knowing where to go, while we were packing our bags, we were constantly called and kicked out of the room. But the staff was no longer there and no one would have cleaned the room, we were simply put out on the street. I have never met such disrespect. For 4 terrible nights in this mess, 20,000 baht was withheld from us. This is really a disgusting attitude, we are very disappointed with both the place and the staff. We stayed here for 4 nights. It is a beautiful location but in order to get back to any civilization it is about a 15 minute walk down a long road to the nearest 7/11. And to get a taxi to go anywhere is about 600 baht since there isn’t a lot of things to do around that area. The staff is so friendly! Lin, was always checking up on us everyday. Here at the hotel they have free snorkeling which is awesome and the water is clear enough to see fish! We loved doing that! Breakfast is great and after breakfast is done they switch to lunch and dinner menu which the food was also so good!
