Hotels near Ko Rang in Koh Chang

We visited this beautiful, owner-managed facility again after 10 years and were thrilled again! The entire resort is well maintained, the bungalows are cleaned every other day (more often if requested) and all the employees are super friendly. The location directly on a large bay with a beautiful sandy beach is fantastic - and here too the plastic waste that is now washing up everywhere in Southeast Asia is immediately disposed of. Many of the other resorts in this area of ​​the island don't have their own beach, which is really perfect here. There are swings hanging between the palm trees everywhere, there are free swimming mats for splashing in the water and you can rent kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Snorkeling in the bay is great, there are corals, lots of shells and even parrotfish. We booked a day trip with a boat for snorkeling through the resort and were picked up directly from the jetty. This trip was also very nice. The food in the restaurant is good, the menu is extensive. There is now a French bakery in the immediate vicinity and a nice little restaurant on the street - for anyone who wants to eat something different. Otherwise, on Ko Kood you generally need a scooter to explore the island; these can be ordered at reception for 300 baht / day. Our children really enjoyed their stay and the great service. When you see how carelessly some of the other resorts/facilities on the island are run, you really realize how good Dusita is. The Dusita is also still unbeatable in terms of price - as everywhere in Thailand, it is advisable to inquire about the prices directly by email, so you don't have to pay the commission for the brokerage platforms. We hope that the facility will continue to operate in this style for a long time and that we will get the chance to vacation there again!

Hotel service personnel are beyond the quality of the general island The room is also very clean. I thought there would be bugs in the island forest, but there were no bugs at all. The restaurant is very delicious, the service staff can speak English, and the communication is very comfortable

The beach front pool villa was perfect, looking straight out over the sea. Two huge double beds which were really comfortable. Cold, quiet air conditioning. Large bathroom with outside shower. (inc shampoo, body wash etc) TV with Netflix if you’re feeling lazy. And a coffee machine. Outside pool was an added bonus to cool off. Zanzibar, the resort cocktail bar make really great cocktails with happy hour (50% off) between 5 to 7 Breakfast was good and had variety. Eggs station, toast, bacon and pastries. They also have rice dishes, vegetables and pasta. The resort restaurant was disappointing with prices well over 300 baht for Thai dishes. The quality did not reflect the price at all. Be aware if you book a transfer through the resort to Koh Chang, it’s pricey & stops at multiple piers before heading to Koh Chang.

Facilities: I have stayed in the best hotel in Thailand and the founder of Six Senses, so it is quite similar to Six Senses, but it feels better than Six Senses Koh Samui. Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb Environment: very good feeling back to nature Hygiene: excellent and impeccable Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year

We booked the room with the small swimming pool. The room was great, clean and bug-free. The floor and walls were in beautiful colors, so cute. The air conditioning is sufficient. The breakfast selection is moderate. You can basically feel full after eating it all at once. The restaurant environment is so comfortable. It is recommended that everyone get up early to enjoy the quiet sea and restaurant space. We stayed on Gougu Island for four days and went to different beaches. The beach outside the hotel is one of the most beautiful, so this hotel really has a high value for money!

The location is far away, we spent 1 day in a hotel, not a bungalow. Clean...usually. Magnificent balcony. )) A very interesting beach, swim to the left of the main beach... There is a good entry into the sea. There are not very many fish. The hotel was completely occupied, so we didn’t extend it and don’t regret it. Breakfast is good, but not great, I asked for coffee because... They don’t keep track of what’s already over. Not far down the road (600m) there is excellent food, but the cafe is not presentable. For 1 day it is possible for a change.

ILay House was a perfect choice for our relaxing two week beach paradise relaxation vacation. First (her nickname) (a fellow Canadian) and her brother are amazing hosts who know how to take care of all guest needs and also take great care of their staff. The location is on the best beach on the island, the beach is pristine peaceful and picturesque. The accommodations are waterfront with amazing sunsets views. Rooms are clean well appointed with AC and hot showers, beds are clean but a little hard for us soft Canadians. The grounds are maintained every day and food is the best in the area. With a full American style breakfast we started the day off just right each day. Should we come back this way Koh Kood is a friendly safe destination and we would recommend you stay at ILay

This is a newly opened place Not all rooms are open yet be under construction The staff here are very kind Service education, very well minded We wanted to stay here longer, I only said that the hotel has no rooms But there were definitely vacancies in our eyes I don't know why they don't make reservations That was a bit disappointing If I visit this island again, I want to visit again The food at the restaurant tastes good, The price is too high It doesn't matter if it's expensive You'll have to prepare something for the price Whether it's increasing the amount of food or plenching, I need to make a difference

It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!

Restaurant with good cuisine and terraces overlooking the sea. Personal, friendly, kind, smiling. Massage center inside the resort with skilled, smiling, very kind masseuses. Scooter rental on site.
