Hotels in Kai Bae Beach, Koh Chang

Hotel is good in design, need to carefully book the room since its have 2 side, seasode and Garden side. The seaside is nice view good atmosphere as same as the picture, but the garden side is another building opposite side of the main one. Not diffirent in price too much, to be honest, book the seaside is good for short stay.

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

The room has a very beautiful view. It is high up and has a wide view. In the morning, there are monkeys walking around looking for food in front of the room. The sea water in front of the accommodation is very clear. The water is not deep, suitable for children. However, the villa is not suitable for the elderly to walk up and down. The food is delicious. The breakfast buffet is considered good.

It was such a pleasant stay located in Kaibae which is my favorite area when I stay in Koh chang. The price is too good to be real comparing to what you get, free breakfast, clean nice budget room, very polite staff, great location, 4 pools in the property?? It's just insane to me!!

We stayed at the hotel from April 4 to 7 in the Economy room 4. It turned out that the conditions were very comfortable. We were even glad that the location was close to the Seven/Eleven and other infrastructure. The room is spacious, in eco-style. The bed is two single beds pushed together with a common headboard. As a result, it is even more than a king-size. All the necessary little things are there. The air conditioner is silent, no living creatures get in, thanks to the door and window seal. The window is not even transparent, it is matte, which seemed appropriate to me in the city part of the hotel. Although the veranda in front of the room is quite private. No one really walks around, it is visually closed from the neighboring verandas. Daily cleaning. Two bottles of water in glass. The beach and breakfast are a separate huge plus of the hotel. Breakfast is a buffet with soups and several types of hot dishes. Light greens and vegetables are also available. All kinds of eggs and tea-coffee with toast too. At the top of the mountain there is a panoramic pool of the hotel. It is relatively small, but very impressive, especially at sunset. There is also a small jacuzzi (not tested by us) and sun loungers in the water. More expensive hotel rooms with a sea view offer active fitness using stairs. Sometimes their verandas are visited by monkeys, so you should be careful and close the room. In general, a whole pack of them was seen on the beach, not at all modest behavior. The male even growled at me, trying to take possession of the bag. Well, or he was protecting the females with children, it is difficult to understand. Near the hotel (to the side) there are quite deserted and rocky beaches nearby. There is a place to walk at sunset. The Cliff Beach Resort itself has a wonderful cozy sandy beach with a decent close depth at any time. It is small, as is the number of sun loungers on it. But if you want, you can always find shade.

Wonderful hotel...great beach within walking distance. Well-kept garden on the territory. Lots of delicious cafes nearby and wonderful massage parlors. Next to the hotel is the Elephant House, where you can feed them, they are also taken to the beach to swim. Tea and coffee are available at the reception 24 hours a day. The houses are clean, pleasant, cozy with air conditioning, refrigerator and TV.

As good as expected, the hotel is in an area. I was a little afraid of getting lost at first, but later it was okay as long as I got familiar with it. Remember the way to the beach and the way to the main street. The hotel area is well greened and comfortable, and there are fewer people living on this beach than on the White Beach, so it is very quiet and suitable for lying down, whether in the room or on the beach. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but I sat on the beach this time and didn't experience it. This room type is an independent cottage. It takes one or two minutes to walk along the path to the beach. Even in the room, you can see a little bit of the sea. The beach is a restaurant open to the public and also a place to eat breakfast. There are few people on the beach, very comfortable. If you are lucky, you can meet a baby elephant that provides tourists with a bathing experience. There is no fire show in the restaurant on this beach. If you want to see a fire show, go to the White Beach. It is also within walking distance from the main street. There are 711, restaurants, souvenir shops, massage shops, and everything else on the main street. There is an elephant park not far away, which provides various elephant experience projects. If you are lucky, you can even see elephants walking on the road. Thanks to the Chinese families who occasionally show up with their kids to experience the program, we passers-by have the chance to see it by the way. Overall, I like it very much. If I go there next time, I will probably consider it again.

Very clean, freshly renovated rooms (building K). Each room has a hot pot kettle. But mattresses are quite hard. Fresh water, shampoo, toilet paper and trash bags daily. Good breakfast buffet. Always different kinds of one of each: soup, fried rice, noodles, vegetable and chicken dish. Three types of fruit and salad bar. However, there is only one person preparing eggs and pancakes, which results in a long queue. And only instant coffee. Location is nice, but the hotel doesn’t practically have its own beach (as well as pool, sun beds and beach towels). During the low tide, it’s impossible to swim due to bushes of seaweed. The beach is nice for morning swims and evening walks. Also elephants are brought there for a swim multiple times a day.

Good hotel, although not new. Convenient location with many cafes and shops nearby. The territory is good, a lot of greenery. Breakfast is modest, the main diet is eggs in different versions. In addition, vegetables, fruits, herbs, pastries. Two pools: in a large one, it seems, sea water. We did not swim there, as the water is very warm, not at all refreshing. In a small one, the water is better, clean, you can freshen up) The beach is very beautiful, but not swimmable at all! Stones. You can enter only in coral slippers. We did not swim in the sea near the hotel. There are kayaks, the use of hotel guests is free. The staff is friendly, as are the locals. But special thanks to the girls at the reception. Very hospitable, friendly, always ready to help!! And thanks to the hotel driver, he also helps with luggage upon arrival and departure! Very pleasant and helpful! We will stay at this hotel again! ❤️

The breakfast in the hotel is average, but the sea view is not bad. In the small house on the second floor, there will be elephants passing by the sea around 4pm, and you can ride an elephant for a fee. The beach on the seaside is quite fine. If you have good water quality, you can consider putting on a life jacket to swim to the opposite island in the morning. I heard that you can rent a boat at the hotel to ski over. Even after the late rising tide, it’s too far and tired. After going out from the hotel to the main convenience store, there is a restaurant that is delicious and cheap.
