Hotels in White Sand Beach, Koh Chang

Highly recommended this resort!!! Very nice place and location is amazing, located in the best beach in Koh Chang and it’s not far from the pier, there is convenient store and ATM in front of the resort. The resort has everything you need and fully of facilities. The food is delicious and reasonable price. All staff are friendly and helpful. Will come back!!!

Overall, it's not bad. Let's talk about the advantages first: the location is very good, one side is the white sand beach, the other side is the main street, there are fire show restaurants, 711, and shops for group tours nearby, which is very convenient. It is not far from the filming location of the first season of the Chinese restaurant; the interior of the room is good, the equipment is relatively new, and the TV can watch YouTube and Netflix; beach towels are provided, which can be used for going out to the sea or swimming. Disadvantages: For some reason, the toilet in the room I stayed in had a strong odor as soon as it was opened, but it could not be smelled when it was covered; the room I stayed in was on the first floor, so if someone came over, it would be easy to be seen, but fortunately the room was in the corner, which was a little better; the swimming pool was very small, which might be an illusion given by the promotional picture, so it was a bit suspected of photo fraud. The hotel itself also has a restaurant, but I didn't try it this time. I will try it next time if I have the chance. Again, the most lively place on Koh Chang is the white beach, but there are not many people on the white beach at this time, which is really suitable for lying down!

Location: Koh Chang Travel duration: ~45 minutes by ferry from the Koh Chang Ferry port on the coastal Trat. ~20 minutes by car to get on the other side of the island Hotel: occupies both sides of the road. Check in is available in the inner building, from where friendly and attentive staff take you with your belongings to your lodge. Hotel offers two types of stays: private cottages and apartment suites. Main attraction of hotel is private cottage with also private pool and nicest view of the sea, but it was reserved during my stay, so we will skip that. Full amenities: robes, water, mini bar, and towels are set in a way that a guest feels most welcome. On-site restaurant offers not only local, but also European kitchen and daily fire show after an amazing sunset. What to do on the island: more like what not to do, because I don’t believe one can be bored there. Starting from scooter ride across the island and finished with diving, there are activities for any kind of character. BB Divers offers amazing full day experience for professional or beginner divers (which I happen to be). In conclusion: go there. It’s not full of people like other thai islands, but it’s more than unforgettable

Amazing staff who did all they could to correct any issues. Nice clean room with fridge and kettle etc. Housekeeping were fantastic. Great beachfront location, nice pool, nice restaurant and comfort bed in the heart of town but not loud at night at all, ideal for those wanting to be in town but not party too hard

I stayed in both the family room and a room with a sea view. Both accommodations were spacious and clean; however, the toilet in the family room had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urine. The breakfast offered was varied and enjoyable each day. The room with the sea view was particularly lovely. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value for the price.

The location of the hotel in general is not bad, but it is better to take hotels further towards the mountain, they have their own beach at high tide, there are steps right there and the sea beats on them... in general this did not interfere. Sunbathe on the sun loungers by the pool, or pull them onto the sand when the tide is low. The building is closed from the road by another building so no noise can be heard. What I didn’t like and the hotel needs to change, it’s honestly a shame. 1. Wi-Fi, which kind of catches, then the Internet just doesn’t work, it’s either no or it’s constantly lost, in the rooms (in the main building opposite), there was a signal, but it didn’t work, on the balcony it looked like it was catching something , not much better. Somehow I worked at their cafe, well, the signal was good, but the Internet almost didn’t work either, connections were constantly being lost. Honestly, this is a shame for the hotel, get normal internet. There was a screwed-up Wi-Fi at the hotel cafe, we took the password, we thought it would be better, but no, it’s about the same... 2. the cost in the cafe, the price tags are simply not adequate (25-30% more expensive), the cafes next door to the more “chic” hotels were no different from the cafes along the road, and we ended up having dinner there often. 3. further incorrect information on Trip says that there is a buffet, that’s why I chose it, but in fact “breakfast is on the menu, with a very limited choice of 5-6 items”, the best thing was an American breakfast of one type, despite the fact that the hotel next door had the same breakfast, 5 types of American. 4. Trip writes that there are safes, in fact there are no safes, or they may be in some rooms, but why write there are if there may not be any? We checked in quickly. They didn’t take a deposit (although at the reception it was written that they do take it). At first they didn’t give us coupons for breakfast, when we asked how to have breakfast they said you had a reservation without breakfast included, we were indignant, the girl checked, saw what happened with breakfast, and gave us coupons. There were 6 days, the rooms are not cleaned unless you ask (towels are changed if they need to be replaced), in general this did not bother us, since we did not litter. Water and toilet paper (well done, at Kokuda they rested in the toilet almost at 0 and then they just added it) were left at the door every day. There was a kettle, but tea/coffee was only available on the day of check-in, new ones were not added. The location of the hotel relative to interesting places is not bad, at the exit there is a kiosk for shakes, on the beach on the right there was a cafe with cocktails all for 100 baht (not bad at all). Along the street there are cafes and massage parlors with normal prices. I rented bikes to the right after 200-300 meters (they didn’t want to haggle on the price against the hotel), it was possible at the hotel, the price was the same as everyone else’s. With Wi-Fi, of course, there was a terrible setup, to come on vacation to run around either the hotel or the cafe in search of normal Wi-Fi... as a result, the hotel next door through the wall (a little further from the bamubu) was with open access, it just flew, no brakes 100 Mbit interruptions!!! Lucky were those who lived with this hotel, it clearly broke through the wall, but it didn’t break through to our room anymore.

Professional service. Maybe the hotel is a little smaller. The few days I went with my wife there were hardly any customers. . . Exclusive access to the rooftop swimming pool. . . . . Very cool. . . Hahaha

Excellent location ! Lezhkov is not necessary to take from 5 a.m. what to get to you 🥲 And the water in the soul is a tragedy - either boiling or ice , here you stand and switch there( Breakfasts are modest But we went only for the sake of the sea and the exit from the hotel directly to the sand! The location is good, the front door is the street, and at night, there are snacks on the street that are also very cheap; the back door is the sea, and the restaurant next door is the first season of the Chinese restaurant. The room is also very clean, there is a waiter at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese. Breakfast tastes pretty good too, the price for dinner is slightly more expensive than the street restaurants. Willing to live here in the future.

Hotel location is good, in the main road of the white sand beach of Koh Chang, the style is western cowboy style, similar to the feeling of the hotel, the hotel will not be more than 2 minutes on the beach, the price is OK, but I don't know if it has not yet reached the tourist season. There are not many people living in the hotel. In addition, the price directly from the hotel front desk is cheaper than the online one. It is a bit uncomfortable. Underneath the hotel is a Western restaurant, the taste is OK. Dinner can be taken directly across the road to the beach.
