"The place is quite lovely, and the staff is polite mand always ready to assist the guests. It is super clean and tidy, and the food is amazing. However, there are things that I cannot overlook. The Internet is one of them, we did not have an internet connection at this hotel. The wifi signal is horrible. There are too many ants. We had a room on the fourth floor, and they managed to climb up there. If you leave some food on the table or a desk, there should be an ant party within 30 minutes. The place is kinda old, it doesn't feel like a four-star place. Some things are outdated. The restaurant is pretty expensive compared to the other restaurants close by (mango sticky rice is 200 compared to an average 100 outside)and the beach bar was closed due the renovation. We had fun here and we will be back. I highly recommend this place for families. This is not a critique but a guideline on how to improve. Cheers!"

"Very good , good big room , lots of things to do , great price at time of booking considering what has to offer compared to other places in the area , good breakfast not the best I save that for star convention in rayong .. Overall considering we on am island at the mercy of controlled prices was as a fair deal , stay again in a couple of days .."

From the bedding and lighting in the guest rooms to public areas like the gym, elevators, and hallways, everything is meticulously maintained. The attention to detail truly stands out. Hygiene was equally impressive and reassuring. The room was spotlessly clean, completely free of any strange odors. The bathroom fixtures gleamed like new, and the bedding clearly appeared to be regularly changed, which offered complete peace of mind. The public areas were also kept immaculately clean, contributing to a very comfortable atmosphere. The service, without a doubt, was the biggest highlight of my stay. "We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps."

"The address on Ctrip is wrong! It's wrong! Give Ctrip a bad review! I used this address for navigation and went to the wrong place, kc! Just enter its English name on Google. The room is actually very shabby, and the guest room is still upgraded, with a sea view room. Then there is a strong musty smell, just like a hotel I stayed in Shengsi before, but that hotel in China is 1500, and it also has a private beach but no breakfast. The location here is amazing, with its own beach and swimming pool, but the room smells musty and not very clean. The air conditioning is also relatively poor, and the bedding is also relatively worn out. The breakfast is okay, very mediocre, but at least there is milk. The Giraffe Hotel in China costs 1500 a night, and there is no milk in the morning. In short, around 300, it is super value! Forget about pursuing quality, but pursue cost-effectiveness, it is not too bad. It is clean, but it is old, the house by the sea is damp, and there is a strong musty smell. Worth it."

"Nice hotel cut into 2 parts by a street. Modern part towards the sea with a nice pool and different bungalows. Older part hillside with an additional pool. No elevator. No sand but rocky beach. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet 7-10 am. 7/11 & macro store next door."

"The hotel is just a fairy tale! We lived on the 2nd floor, a villa. Everything is done so beautifully, lots of molding, a wonderful shower room, lots of greenery. Beautiful pool. Breakfasts are excellent. The hotel is located on the best beach on the island! In the evenings there is a fire show, shops, cafes, pharmacies are within walking distance. Special thanks to the staff! If Koh Chang, then only this atmospheric hotel."

"We really liked the hotel. Large well-kept territory, good breakfasts. We really liked the villa on the slope for its privacy, large patio. Lots of photo zones. The room lacked basic hooks for towels and a dryer. I recommend it and would like to come back myself."

"Great hotel price wise. Big swimming pool with nice slides. Nice private beach feeling. The breakfast is normal. The room is big with a very big balcony including seating. The only minus is the small bathroom. But the shower area is good with hot and good pressure water. Friendly staff, food and drinks are fair and no ++. We will come back."
