Silent Brook Resort - Coorg

We recently booked silent brook Madikeri for our family vacations.while making the booking I was surely looking for resorts which are child friendly and the above mentioned the same on their website ...however it was a total bad surprise when we reached.... To begin with the resort is located in a much inside area with no proper road ..... It a strap upwards roads with no fence guards in the sides ...at a time only one vehicle can pass a possibility of taking reverse on that route is almost life threatening specially if you are not a seasoned car driver ........ The resort has no parking as of now you park the car outside with absolute no shade so guards no boundaries it's lik in the middle of nothing..... Reason is the resort is still under construction Heading on to the reception we got our keys and we were dropped to our room in hotels car because the road to walk inside the resort is not at all kids friendly or old people friendly it like a standing road and you are climbing the room has a scenic view amidst mountains offcrs but you can not keep your balcony open post sunset due to flies and insects ... While booking we made sure there is indoor play area for kids available as it was mentioned in their reviews however there was a open ground next to parking area with few slide and swing which were not maintained not fenced again not child friendly the club house is too small hardly anything to do ..... There is not even a flat garden space where I could leave my child to run around and play for sometime.... It all climbing roads inside the resort where I cnt let my baby walk herself as kids would slip and directly go down with no balance even when I discussed this to a fellow resort staff he himself agreed in the fact that it's not kids friendly and even not for senior age people due to difficulties in computing...so each time you call the reception if you want to head out of your room and take their car ..... Coming down to food the breakfast options are extremely common and no great taste ....their menu has nothing on kids menu ...but they were kind to attend our request to prep something bland for my kid .... However they really need to work on the kitchen team as when I asked them to prep pan cake wheat based for my toddler they prepared pancake which when I saw was completely raw running dough inside cooked only in outside ...and despite of me telling to add wheat they used maida as the pan cake looked white ..... The portion size is extremely less compared to the cost they are charging also they done even serve complimentary salads or chutney instead they give ketchup .....and the delay is absolutely long they will tell we will get in 20 mins but the food comes in 1 to 1.5 hours The bathroom of the room was full of spider webs when we checked in and it was not cleaned even after multiple follow ups ....overall I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone irrespective of they have kids or not ... because inside the resort you have nothi

It is located in a serene area. The resort is nicely landscaped with a lovely view from each cottage. Roos are well appointed. Bathroom has a good quality jacuzzi. Must appreciate the Chef for tasty layout and his enthusiasm. He made sure that all the demands are met. Special thanks to Ranjit for his tireless service and that too with a smile

We were a group of 12 taking a family vacation to Coorg and decided to try out Silent Brook Resorts. It is a new property in Madekeri, it was a beautiful property. All the rooms are very premium and well maintained. The staff is extremely polite and cooperative, we were travelling with children and the staff was at our service anytime we requested for any service/food. The food was customised to our liking, it was served hot and was delicious. The hospitality was commendable and the stay was very comfortable. Totally recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and wholesome getaway. The only drawback was that the property was fairly distant from all the tourist attractions (＞30mins drive).

Its a wonderful experience from check in till check out. Delicious food & nice breakfast . nice property the location of this resort is simply unbeatable,with unbroken views.over all an excellent place to stay with family & friends highly recommended.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights in heritage premium cottage . The property is quite stunning with so many activities to enjoy, making it perfect for families . The rooms were neat and clean. Moreover our room balcony view was great. The restaurant service was top - notch and the food was amazing. Thank you to all the staff we interacted with for making this stay a memorable one.

My overall experience was great. Even my family enjoyed the stay and they also really love the food and service provided by the property during the stay. Location for the resort was great. It’s a top notch property for those who love to enjoy picturesque and serene view.
