I was lucky enough to take an unforgettable trip to Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Here are my travel thoughts:
As a representative attraction in Kochi Prefecture, OMO7 aroused my great interest. This newly opened hotel is not just a simple accommodation facility, but a complex tourist destination integrating accommodation, catering and entertainment.
After checking in, I was attracted by the hotel's stylish design and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel's public areas cleverly combine modern minimalist style with traditional Japanese elements to create a unique cultural atmosphere. I tasted delicious local desserts leisurely in the hotel's cafe and felt the leisurely lifestyle of Kochi.
There are various activities in the hotel, such as woodwork making experience courses, traditional tea ceremony performances, etc., which allowed me to deeply experience the cultural charm of Kochi. In particular, I participated in a wonderful night event. With the lights and music, I felt like I was in a unique cultural feast.
Overall, OMO7 provides me with an ideal place to relax and experience Kochi culture in depth. The facilities, services and activity arrangements here all made me feel the unique charm of Kochi. This trip was undoubtedly an unforgettable memory.

This is a hotel with a long history. The grand appearance and facilities tell the glory of the past. It is rare to have a natural hot spring to bathe in the city. It is close to Kochi Castle and Hiroshi Market. These are all attractive places in Kochi. It is very convenient because you can go sightseeing on the train street, Hirome Market and Kochi Castle in front of you. It's a little far from Harima Bridge and Kochi Station, but it's within walking distance while sightseeing. It was a bit old but clean and comfortable. There is no large communal bath, but the bath in the room immediately filled with hot water and was able to use it without stress. I felt that breakfast was also better than when I stayed before. It was a pity that I couldn't see Kochi Castle from the room. It was the end of March, but it was essential to wear a mask in the hotel.

The evaluation on the net was a bit low, but there were not many rooms in August and it was high, so I made a terrible reservation. I remembered staying before while going from Kochi station to the hotel. I think it's unfortunate that residents in Hiroshima Prefecture are out of the hotel discount. Check-in was very polite. Amenities were at the front desk and there was a hot coffee machine and water. There was also a welcome snack and I was a little laughing. The room is 2 F. The facilities are a bit old, but there is no problem with using it. It was very highly appreciated in the location close to the Sunday location for this time.

This hotel is comfortable and spacious. All the designs are thoughtful. The room is large, and the pool is also large. It is outside the bathroom, so it is more spacious to use. There are three hot spring pools. After washing, you can enjoy free popsicles with various flavors. The breakfast is rich. There is also free soy sauce ramen from 9:30 to 11:00 in the evening. There were many people when checking in, and the lady immediately used the machine to quickly check me in. I will try to find this hotel to stay in when I come to Japan in the future.

While walking the Shikoku Ohenro pilgrimage, we stayed here for three nights. Hotel is about 7 minutes walk from Kochi station, 5 minutes walk from Kochi’s famous Hirome Ichiba where you can sample delicious tataki (seared bonito sashimi) and many other foods at reasonable prices. This hotel costs half as much as other hotels called by the tourist information center. WiFi worked great. 24- hours coin laundry is 2-3 minutes walk away. An inexpensive but delicious yakitori-ya is near the coin laundry.

The parking lot was flat, so even the tallest estima was stopped without any problems. There was also a corona countermeasure with meals, and the front desk was also a polite response. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. It is recommended if it is a business.

The hotel doesn't have a website that is easy to find in English so we went through a travel agency to make reservations. Weren't sure what we would get. Our point of comparison are Japanese business hotels which we presumed this was. However, while costing a bit more, the rooms were large with a separate shower area from the sink. Great view of station. Choice of no daily cleaning but fresh towels delivered daily. Breakfast has 45 min seating times. Nice Japanese breakfast selection. We stayed 3 days and there was a slight variation each day. While location is most convenient to the station and surroundings, the main tourist areas, e.g. Sunday market, are about a 15 min easy walk. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

When I was looking for a new hotel as much as possible, this hotel was a hit. Since I used an airplane, I decided here because it is close to JR Kochi Station. The room was clean and clean, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. I was able to walk to sightseeing such as shopping streets, Sunday markets, Kochi Castle, Harima and Bridge. For breakfast, I had a Tosa Campach set meal at the adjacent shop ”Ekimaeno Camel”. It was very delicious and I was able to enjoy the breakfast that is typical of Kochi Prefecture. I was able to spend a meaningful trip to Kochi Prefecture.

PPakoholicLocated in heart of Kochi city (very close to 高知城), this hotel is your best choice. They offer high speed WiFi, AirPlay and Chromecast connected TV, with all these you can still enjoy a very good price! Extremely high CP value, worth of money. Special thanks to the staff who helped me to extend my check-out time due to headache🙏🏻
GGuest UserWe were in the area to tour Kochi's sights and sounds, and while Auberge Tosayama is about a 45 minute drive from the city, we had our own car and felt that relaxing in a remote oasis would be better than staying at a bland, large hotel. After staying at this retreat, we felt that we made a good choice. It's a stylish small resort (only 16 rooms total) that blends in nicely with its mountainous surroundings. It has a mostly earthly tone in muted colors that really soothed our soul and made us feel one with nature. The reception area has floor-to-ceiling windows with great views of the lush greenery and rolling hills all around. Our Villa was accessed by crossing the river via a suspension bridge (it's sturdy, not to worry) - an interesting way to get to the room without it being too far to be an arduous task. The Villa itself is one of a few that on the other side of the river, and each are detached units that are reminiscent of a mountain hut. The Villa was tastefully furnished and well appointed. While we generally prefer larger rooms with bedrooms that are separate from the living room, the junior suite-style layout was adequate. Two nits to pick, however. First, no Onsen (natural hot springs) bath in the room, as is the case with many top-end ryokans. Secondly, internet speeds were terrible... that is, if we could even get connected (it was intermittent.) While I understand that the purpose of staying in a place like this is to unwind and disconnect from the civilized world, it would be nice to have the option to get online should we so choose. Oh, one more thing... the nearest electrical outlet is FAR from the only table in the room; we borrowed a long extension cord, but even then, it was literally a stretch for the cable to reach my laptop. At least they have a communal Onsen, which is gender segregated (like 99% of public ryokan Onsen baths) and offers both an indoor and open-air bath. It's not very large, but given the small number of rooms on site, it's doubtful that you'll have to share it with too many people, save for late afternoons (just before dinner) and late mornings (after breakfast and just before check-out time.) Auberge Tosayama's supposed calling card is its food offerings - after all, it has ”Auberge” in its name. We enjoyed the meals, and it's probably as good as it's going to get in Kochi. It won't be on our ”10 best ryokan meals” list, but it doesn't have to be. Not everything was spectacular, but there were a few memorable dishes. The Foie Gras ”Joyo Mushi” was a dish consisting of Foie Gras mixed with grated Yam that was steamed into a ball shape, topped with Uni (Sea Urchin) and doused with Ankake sauce. Even the simpler dishes, including a salad that contained locally-sourced vegetables such as Komatsuna (Japanese Mustard Spinach) and Japanese Turnip was excellent. We were in Kochi after all, so we really wanted to try some of the indigenous dishes... and Auberge Tosayama did a great job introducing us to many lo
XXiangping xiangpingThe atmosphere of the people at the reception was also good and very kind and comfortable.
In addition, the two female staff at the restaurant that I used for breakfast were very kind and the food was delicious and I was very satisfied.
My daughter who likes Anpanman was happy to receive an Anpanman toy.
thank you very much.
I was a little worried about the dust accumulated in the corner of the door of the room, but other than that, it was clean and I was able to stay with my children, so that was helpful.
The elevator smelled of smoke, but I think this is a problem of the guests who stayed and not a problem of the hotel.
GGuest UserThe room is small but clean. Breakfast is semi-self-service. You can freely eat drinks, staple food, fruits, soups, vegetable salads and some local specialties. You can choose one main dish, which is very good. The only thing I didn't feel good about was the day I checked in. Due to the typhoon and heavy rain, I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock and it was not the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room that I could check in first so that I could change my wet clothes. The front desk clerk I checked the computer and said that I could pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount was not much, I felt uncomfortable. In the past, when checking in in Europe, if there was a clean room, I would usually give the room card in advance. The hotel follows the rules but lacks human touch
GGuest Userthe boss is very enthusiastic, easy to talk to foreigners, actively contact in advance and guide how to get there.the restaurant has breakfast prepared, overall it is ok.
There is a supermarket and lawson right next to it, convenient!
GGuest UserLocation, price and room size are star 5. The location is good in the middle of the city. The price range is cheap. It is old but wider than I thought. I thought it was a hotel for a man because the flyer of the paid program which was not good in the booklet of the hotel guide was sandwiched between the hall 々, and the next day, I went to the breakfast hall and I was worried that there were many families. There is a tavern guide that delivers you at night, and it is a hotel in the drinking town completely. It would be a location pattern, but I was able to wake up in the middle of the night with the voice of the drunk and the strange voice in the morning. I can hear a lot of things. If you are nervous, you should stop. Breakfast is only boiled with bread and drinks *, but the breakfast venue is bad and it is a person waiting for baked bread. I thought it would be smooth if it was a system to burn and pass to the guest because I didn't know what the two employees at the breakfast hall were talking and doing.
GGuest UserI stayed in a hurry on a solo trip! Conveniently located near the bus terminal and JR station! The downtown area is a little far away. It's a little old building, but there's no problem at all! The hotel front desk and public bath are on the 2nd floor and the rooms are on the 3rd floor or above. The room was a hotel leave plan, but it was a little small and there was no problem! The bedding was clean and I slept comfortably! However, please note that there is a coin laundry on the 1st floor, you cannot go directly by elevator, and you will have to go out from the 2nd floor once! In yukata and slippers, may it be cold or wet by rain? I was a little worried that the coin laundry equipment was dirty, but I was able to wash it safely and was saved! Breakfast is also included and it is good to choose from several types!
IiwaidaThis hotel is located in an alley on the south side of the Enoguchi River. It is a little far from Kochi Station and Tosaden tram stops and the transportation is not so good. The nearest transportation is Nakanohashi or Oitesuji bus stop. I think it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the Kochibashi tram stop in Tosaden. I stayed in a single room, but the room is a general business hotel. The facilities are small 々 old and the unit bath is small, but the cleaning was well done. The front desk was also polite. Located on the north side of downtown, you won't have to worry about eating. If you go a little south, it is a shopping street in Obiya Town, and there are many restaurants around the hotel. However, unfortunately there is no convenience store nearby, so it may be inconvenient if you want to shop a little. If you are here, you can walk back without any problems even if you spend late in the downtown area. It is recommended for those who want to stay reasonably near downtown.
Rreiya1999We used it on a trip to Kochi. ● Good point It was within walking distance to kochi station. There is a distance to the Hirome market, so it will be accessed by tram. If you work hard, you can walk, but it's a bit far. There is a smoking room, so smokers can stay with peace of mind. You can make a pre-reservation at the time of booking. There is free wifi. Depending on the floor, it seems to be wired, but the radio room was assigned. Wifi is a speed that is no problem even if you look at the video. There was a free umbrella lending. Suddenly, it was saved because it rained. The front desk is 24 hours corresponding and there is no gate limit. There are restaurants near the cherry blossoms, and convenience stores are close. ● I was worried The wall was very thin, and the sound of the outside car and the sound of the next room were rounded. It was a level that can be clearly understood to the voice. The wall is lined up with Toyoko Inn. The cherry blossom room key is not a card key, so one by one, the key must be left at the front desk. When I received, I had to tell the room number and full name, and it was a little trouble. The carpet in the cherry blossom room had long hair left as it was. I feel that the carpet cleaning is not enough. Amenities such as cherry blossom shampoo are minimal. The quality is never good, so it is better to bring people who care. The sound of the ventilation fan in the bathroom was very big. The front desk did not grasp the location of the bus stop. Naturally, there was no concierge, so I had to check it myself. It is an average business hotel. It is better not to expect excessively, but if you have stayed in Toyoko Inn, it is easy to understand if you think it is equivalent level.
I was alone and made a reservation to save money. Hotel charges are cheap, but are cleaned neatly. It's an older hotel, but it has everything you need. If you are concerned about the smell of cigarettes, you can borrow a deodorant spray at the front desk. It's a little far from the station, but I was able to borrow a bicycle for free, so it was convenient to go to the Sunday market and Hirome market. The female front desk clerk was friendly and pleasant. The room was spacious enough for a single room. When I went out into the corridor, I could hear the noise from the previous room, but the room was quiet and the bed was a semi-double, so I slept well. It is a pity that there is no washlet. But it is enough if we only stay.
