It feels like an old hotel, but the location was great.
The paid hotel parking lot seems like you can't use it unless you make a reservation, so I parked in a nearby paid parking lot.
The mattress was quite hard, the amenities were quite limited, and you could hear outside noise quite well even from inside the room, so if that's something you'd want to be careful about, I think it's a good idea.
The price was reasonable for the hotel, but when you consider the cost of parking, it's a bit disappointing.
The bread at breakfast was delicious.
Very convenient location, just opposite to the JR station. We can have a view of JR station from our room.
The restaurant - Rita Shokudo, which is not far from the hotel, is super good.
The room is standard Japanese size but the room is good in size for 2 persons.
About 10 to 15 mins walk to the main shopping street and food market.

The rent payment is not on the platform of normal trip. It is said that it is paid on arrival. In fact, you have to contact in advance. Because I didn't read the email, he didn't come when I checkedin. No one showed up during the whole process. I need to communicate in English. Our room is on the ground floor (parking floor) below, there is no elevator, we have to take an outdoor rotating staircase! It is impossible to carry luggage safely! This is extremely poor! Parking spaces have to cross the road.

The Hotel Tosaji Takasu provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Kochi will find that the Hotel Tosaji Takasu is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is only 3km from JR Tosa-Ikku Station and 10km from Kōchi Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. This hotel is located near many of Kochi's attractions including Maruhan Kochi Takasu, アッティーボジム高知店 and Takasu Kitanomaru Park. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
Transport links are very well located.
The rooms and facilities are very clean, but I think 19,000 yen per night is too expensive.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe lady owner was very kind and our stay was really comfortable. The place is clean and the dinner was amazing, so much bonito that we had to keep some for the next morning. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting Kochi!
AAngelineSimple and clean. There was no bottled water provided in the room. Can only get water and coffee at the breakfast counter. Breakfast was quite nice. Open paid carpark next to hotel but limited lots.
PPakoholicLocated in heart of Kochi city (very close to 高知城), this hotel is your best choice. They offer high speed WiFi, AirPlay and Chromecast connected TV, with all these you can still enjoy a very good price! Extremely high CP value, worth of money. Special thanks to the staff who helped me to extend my check-out time due to headache🙏🏻
PPhilipp MaasAs a solo traveler, JR Clement Kochi Inn was perfect for my needs. The cost performance was excellent, offering great value for money. I only slept there, but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was smooth. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers.
GGuest UserI have always liked Hoshino's hotel. As the only hotel in Shikoku under the Hoshino Group, I have to support it no matter what. Fortunately, this trip is self-driving. If you rely on public transportation, the hotel's location is not convenient. The most criticized thing is that the parking fee is 1,000 yen per entry and exit. We booked 3 rooms for this family trip. All rooms have carpet colors to distinguish the inside and outside after entering the door. You have to take off your outer shoes and change into indoor slippers. The space of our 3-person suite is quite large, but the shoe-changing space in the twin room is very small and inconvenient. In addition, the hotel provides slippers for going out on the ground, and there is no shoe cabinet to place your own shoes, resulting in shoes all over the floor. Once the door is opened, the shoes are easily swept. Such internal and external designs are of course a bit of Japanese inn style, but in general hot spring inns, the luggage wheels are wiped clean by a special person before being dragged away on the internal floor tatami. The hotel cannot control the quality of the guests. It is estimated that many people drag their luggage directly into the room, so whether such a design is reasonable and hygienic should be considered again. There are also children's yukatas prepared but no children's slippers, which feels a little bit off. The limited-time yuzu bath that I was looking forward to turned out to be a yuzu-shaped plastic box filled with yuzu peel and flesh, which was different from the real apple bath I took in the Atami Resort before. I don’t know if yuzu is not resistant to soaking or what, I was a little disappointed. The Yosakoi dance performance in the hotel lobby at night was still very interesting. The dancers should be hotel employees. They danced very well and the overall interaction was very passionate! There was a problem with the booking platform and hotel regulations for children’s breakfast. In the end, Ctrip and the hotel gave a proper solution. Although there are not many types of breakfast, it is quite exquisite. Overall, it is still recommended.
GGuest UserThe room is small but clean. Breakfast is semi-self-service. You can freely eat drinks, staple food, fruits, soups, vegetable salads and some local specialties. You can choose one main dish, which is very good. The only thing I didn't feel good about was the day I checked in. Due to the typhoon and heavy rain, I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock and it was not the check-in time. I asked the front desk if there was a cleaned room that I could check in first so that I could change my wet clothes. The front desk clerk I checked the computer and said that I could pay 1,000 yen for early check-in. Although the amount was not much, I felt uncomfortable. In the past, when checking in in Europe, if there was a clean room, I would usually give the room card in advance. The hotel follows the rules but lacks human touch
ジジェロニモGood location because it is near Kochi Station. There is Lawson across the pedestrian crossing, so it was convenient because you can go shopping at night.
The receptionist and the correspondence were able to spend well and comfortably.
Near the reception, there was also a makeup emulsion cleaning amenities (types to take each).
The room and bed were also large for two people, but they were able to use it with wide 々.
MmajyorikaI have stayed here several times when I go back home. This time I stayed here the day before the Kochi Ryoma Marathon. Normally I don't have much trouble finding a place to stay, but this time it was the day before a big event, so I was lucky to be able to make a reservation. The hotel staff were, as always, very friendly, kind, and pleasant. I often make reservations with my family, so I'm glad they have Western-style rooms for families. This is one hotel I would like to stay at in the future.
LlwwbThe hotel is some distance from the city center. It can be reached by road tram 🚃. It is clean and has free breakfast. It is a little soundproof. I went there during the summer vacation. Basically, the room is full every day, but everyone is basically friendly and get along well.
SSerendipiterClose to JR station and booked a Japanese tatami room. There were about 9 tatami rooms, so I was lucky to stay for 2 nights. It was nice to have a large bath. In particular, the staff were very friendly and gave a lot of advice and help on the trip. The only inconvenience was the stairs at the entrance of the hotel.
