Hotel Sakurakan Gakuya

高知駅の南口から徒歩2〜3分程度のところにある、リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できるビジネスホテルです。外観・ロビーの様子から古さの目立つホテルのように思いますが、多くのビジネスホテルと同様に各客室は綺麗に保たれているため、ホテルそのものの古さはそれ程気にならないと思います（一部のバスルームにもはや落としきれない汚れが散見される場合がありますが、それも滞在時に大いに気になる程ではないと思います）。部屋の大きさは一般的なビジネスホテルと同程度かと思いますが、（私が宿泊した部屋がたまたまそうだったのかもしれませんが）壁や部屋の隅のでっぱりの構造が多く、それが部屋を窮屈に感じさせています。あくまで高知市内、あるいは高知県内の観光の拠点として利用するに留めた方がいいかもしれません。 スタッフの接客対応は特段失礼というものではありませんでしたが、やや素っ気無さを感じました。とは言え、高知観光の拠点としてこのホテルを利用するに留めるのであれば、スタッフの接客対応の質も特段気になる程ではないと思います。 なお、出入口は階段状になっており、且つスロープが別に設置されていないため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は利用しづらいと感じるでしょう。 A budget-friendly business hotel located about a 2 - 3 minute walk from the south exit of Kochi Station. While the hotel's exterior and lobby may appear somewhat dated, the guest rooms are well-maintained, much like those of many other business hotels. The overall age of the hotel is unlikely to be a major concern, though some bathrooms may have stains that can no longer be removed. However, these are not significant enough to affect the comfort of a stay. The room size is standard for a business hotel, but (perhaps just in the particular room I stayed in) the presence of protrusions on the walls and corners made the space feel somewhat cramped. This hotel is best suited as a base for exploring Kochi City or the wider Kochi Prefecture rather than as a place to relax. The staff’s service was not impolite, but it felt a bit distant. That said, if you are only using this hotel as a base for sightseeing in Kochi, the level of service should not be a major concern. In addition, the entrance and exit are on a staircase, and there is no separate ramp, so people in wheelchairs or with other disabilities will find it difficult to use.
