It's a really old Sheraton. Although it's on an artificial island, it's not that inconvenient to go to the subway directly. There are also shops and art galleries downstairs. But the day I went there was a short holiday in Japan and all the rooms were full. It was the first time I encountered a long waiting list in the breakfast restaurant... I was really scared to death when I saw a bar full of people waiting for a table (it would have been a big mess in China). I was in a hurry to check out and catch the flight and tried to communicate with the usher whether I could pack it up. I didn't expect that they would arrange a seat temporarily. I was so grateful! The quality of breakfast was very good!

The location is about 5-6 minutes walk on the ramp on the main street, if there are elderly children can ask the hotel to pick up, 1400 has this service. I ordered a one-night-two meal, dinner although many dishes but not very full, can buy cup noodles or snacks in advance to eat at night hungry. Have purchased a private bath, not very big, 2-3 people would be good The public hot spring is much bigger, I booked the room in the bathroom so I must go to the public hot spring to take a shower.

It's hard to choose a room in Arima Onsen, either it's very expensive or the reviews are not very good. I compared many hotels and finally chose this moderately priced hotel. The decoration of the room is a little old, but the hygiene is very good. The hotel's dinner gave me a surprise, and the quality was higher than the famous Kaiseki cuisine I had in Kyoto. this hotel situated in very good location beside Shin Kobe Station which can get you to anywhere such as Osaka, Kyoto, Himeiji, even Tokyo. The hotel is consider rather big as compared to local Japanese hotel. Services & breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.
