The reception is at level 5 of the building. Location is really near the JR Sannomiya station and there’s a supermarket in adjacent building. They provide Kose face products and other amenities at the counter during check in, different types of teabags and drip coffee at the restaurant opposite reception (and even a wine dispenser machine). There’s a fun chess set outdoors beside the restaurant. The room is basic but big with a sofa inside, desk is a little small. Was initially disappointed with their check in time at 5pm but they allowed me to check in at 4ish and even brought my luggage to my room! Great service!

The raw eggs and natto are the most luxurious breakfast I have ever had. The room is clean. It is a bit small for foreigners, but it should be medium in Japan. The transportation is very convenient. It is in the city center. The price is acceptable. After all, it is a holiday.

The sound insulation is a bit poor, so light sleepers should be careful.
The location is really good. When I arrived on the first day, I followed the navigation and it was a bit circuitous. But after I left boldly the next day, I felt that it was convenient. After exiting the hotel, turn left and go straight ahead for 2-3 intersections. When you reach an elevated intersection (picture), turn right and you will find the Itakyu Department Store, the busiest place at Sannomiya Station.
Or don’t turn right and walk boldly forward, which is Daimaru Department Store. The Daimaru here looks high-end. The building is so beautiful. Daimaru is very close to America Park.
I walked back and forth on two legs the whole time.
There are 711 downstairs on both sides. And the whole family. coco curry shop.

Although it is the same Higashi Ward citizen, it was difficult to go out of the prefecture due to the corona disaster, and I stayed at a good price for the citizens of the prefecture, so I stayed at the nearby Plaza Hotel with a plan with a big Patos ticket. Dinner was limited to summer vacation and there was a Dinaso buffet. This is the children's delight. Dinosaurs welcomed me from the entrance, and the dishes were a wide variety of menus with dinosaur motifs. The sweets and desserts were also substantial, and I was very satisfied and full. The buffet the next morning was also very delicious. The child played home until he became a het in the pool. It became a good memory of summer vacation. I would like to use it again.

Room and bed much larger than expected for a solo traveller like me at such a bargain. Vintage-style design with elements of clock faces seen throughout the hotel. I especially like how they use clock faces and clock arms to represent the floors the elevators are at. Local is convenient, close to the Sannomiya Subway station. The overall experience was great and I would consider booking this again if I had the chance to return to Kobe.

The location is very convenient, not far from JR Yuanshao Station, one stop to Sannomiya, opposite Daimaru Department Store, 711, next to Nanjing. The room is small, but clean and hygienic, standard air purifier, no bathtub, shower equipment is very good. The lobby and breakfast room are on the second floor, the breakfast is not very rich, and the overall satisfaction is very good!

It is a new hotel that just opened in December last year, and the location is also convenient near Motomachi station and Nanjing town. Breakfast was only two types of Western meals, but it was kind to respond to fine orders. Location and cleanliness are decent as expected, but many amenities such as green tea, shower cap and pillows (only 1 per bed) are missing.

Chose this hotel as I was attached by the line” renovated in 2023” in trip.com. It did not live up to my expectation as the room was rather old esp carpet, not feeling it’s clean.
The twin beds were small while the picture didn’t show that they were that small. Well, the description was like 0.9-1.4m wide so I can’t blame anyone given it’s a wide range in the bed size.
Breakfast is good with lots of variety. The view was great. All in all, it’s not a bad experience if you can manage yourself with the misnomer description of “renovation”.

The place runs on central heating system in early April when it is already 20 degrees outside. There's just a tiny window in the room.
Because the temperature in the room is high already, the heater will not run, but given there is no air con, there is literally no air flow in the room.
Had to borrow a fan from reception to deal with it.
The remote unit of the toilet system does not always work too.

GGuest User１ months ago, the hotel in Kanazawa was good, so I stayed here for a while before the opening. It was a little rainy, but I was moving in the arcade, so I was almost wet. Arrived without the view from the room, so the surrounding hotels and buildings are assumed. The room is clean and the bathroom is separate. The breakfast was delicious. I thought again, but the size of the tissue box is easy to use. The small type of square has been hard to get, so it's good to recur. Look, I knew there was only a disposable slipper, so this time I checked in and I gave you an additional reason. I'm sorry.

The bath here is directly connected to the Goshobo source, and you can enjoy fresh hot springs more than the head family's Goshobo. There are two private baths like a slightly larger family bath, and it is a system that can be used at any time if it is free without reservation. Since you can use the large communal bath of Goshobo for a certain time in the evening, everyone seems to be going there, and both of these baths were monopolized and unlimited from afternoon to night. It is a perfect inn for hot springs, but it is a little expensive for long stays. I have to cut 10,000 yen without meals for one night.

Coffee has a nespresso and you can drink latte (the machine of nespresso looks like an espresso machine. But please rest assured that it is a nespresso.) The atmosphere is good. GGuest User部屋に露天風呂付き、朝夕部屋食でこの宿を選びました。 この条件としては他のホテルに比べとても安くてお得感がありました。 部屋での食事は工夫されていておいしく、また係りの方も丁寧で良いです。 フロントにはありましたが、部屋にアルコールスプレーが置かれていないのは残念でした。 部屋の露天風呂は大きな開き戸を全開すると天井はありますが露天風呂になります。半露天かな。ラドン温泉水は常時注ぎ込まれており、バスタブは深く広く夫婦と子供2人の4人くらいなら一度に入れるくらいの大きさでとても開放感があります。 部屋にはその浴槽1つのみで、身体の洗い場スペースもあります。 その開放された窓からの景色はすばらしく、川向こうの山の爽やかな緑一面なのでとてもリラックスできます。鴻朧館のHPのトップにある景色そのままでした。 さらに高価格の宿と比較すると設備で高級感は少し劣りますが、有馬の他の宿は街中にあるのでこの景色は臨めないでしょう。 大浴場は行っていませんがコロナ前には小さい缶ビールも無料提供されていました。現在は中止中でした。川沿いに金泉のお風呂もあります。 駅からはシャトルバスがあり、川沿いを少し上ると意外と混んでいるマス釣り場や滝があります。

To be fair, the stay was comfortable and I was initially very pleased at choosing Hotel Okura Kobe again.
The reason for my low rating is that the hotel laundry service ruined 3 of my sweaters which were sent for dry cleaning. The sweaters have been dry cleaned before without incident but were shrunk considerably after cleaning at the hotel. I believe the dry cleaning was mismanaged and wrote in to give feedback, specifically that this type of mistake with laundry should not be happening at a hotel which markets itself on the higher end of the spectrum. Did receive a cookie cutter reply from the housekeeping manager acknowledging my complaint.
I think the incident was perhaps caused by new staff that were poorly trained. Pity, the incident ruined my experience and resulted in the poor rating for an otherwise pleasant stay.

GGuest UserI used it for the first time. It is very convenient because it is close to Sannomiya Station and there are many commercial facilities and restaurants. The front was a main road, but the room was quiet. The staff 々 also felt good, and it was helpful to keep my luggage for a little time after checking out. The room was clean and he had a view of the city. (Middle floor) The buffet-style breakfast was also fulfilling and delicious for the reasonable accommodation fee. It is convenient to walk to the sightseeing tour bus stop in 5 minutes ～ 6 minutes.
