After 3 days in Fira, my NY sister wanted a beach and relaxation so we ventured to Perissa. The hotel is beautiful and our room (upgraded!) was amazing…two floors with our own pool. The beach is steps away…with straw umbrellas and food/drink service. Very beautiful…but quite different from my So Cal beaches…Rocky, dark sand and you can’t really walk on the beach. The water, however, is nice and warm…though it is very slippery getting in. Tons of great bars/restaurants on the beach. Service at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good. Go and relax.

The worst hotel in Indonesia for us, no doubt. We arrived at 8 pm, we have booked and prepaid 8 rooms with private bathroom for 16 people (we are a very large group). We found only 6 rooms. The 2 other rooms didn't exist! Or even better, one room had a bathroom without shower or sink (!!!), the eighth room didn't exist at all. So two of us slept without bathroom and two of us bought another accomodation. The staff was completely indifferent: they didn't refund the two rooms and didn't found any solution. The guy was rude and didn't collaborate at all. I will put the pics on to show the really bad situation. Avoid this hotel.
