Can see amazing sunrise from the terrace, nice garden, private beach, terrific services, hospitable owner, wonderful 3 days spent there. Will come back again!

"My wife and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms are wonderful cabins which were remarkably clean and insect free. We didn't even need to use the provided mosquito net. The cabins provide a great feel of privacy I'd recommend this resort to any couples it's incredibly picturesque and romantic. They also have a gas scooters available to rent for a very affordable price and a taxi service available from the resort to navigate the island. Breakfast had western and Asian options and whilst nothing extraordinary met my expectations."

"The hotel is on the island. You need to take a boat to the pier at your own expense and then take a taxi to the island. It is a small single-family house. The hotel staff are very polite and friendly. The beach is just 10 to 20 meters in front of the house. Although it is May Day, there are almost no people. It is a very quiet place. There are European and American tourists. I have not seen a Chinese person in the seven days I stayed. It is a good place to escape from the world and lie down."

JJarek MecinaWe spent a few fantastic days at Secret Garden Homestay and we can fully recommend this place! Everything was at the highest level – from the wonderful atmosphere, through comfortable accommodation, to the hospitality of the hosts.
The hotel is located in a quiet green area, which makes you really relax and feel the island's climate. The rooms are clean, spacious and very climate-friendly, and the proximity of the forest adds this unique charm to the place.
The biggest assets of Secret Garden Homestay are, however, – hosts hearty, helpful and always smiley.They were happy to advise us what was worth seeing at Koh Yao Yai, helped in the transportation organization and made sure that we didn't miss anything.
This is a place with the soul we would love to return to. If you are looking for a quiet corner in the surrounding nature, Secret Garden Homestay is the perfect choice!

DDenisVery nice hotel on a quiet island. We had a villa away from the road, so we felt completely at one with nature. I think if the house is next to a busy main road, you will not feel such peace.

The rooms themselves are shabby, but in this climate they are perfectly preserved. There may be stains on the walls, furniture.
The staff is not very focused on cleaning. They will change basic things, but they will not wipe away the dirt in the corners. And it is there, because you literally live in the forest.
Very important! On this side of the island there are very strong low tides and you can swim for a couple of hours a day. But you can take a scooter, the island has calm traffic and few cars. On the other side there is a great deserted beach without low tides.

GGuest UserThe room is quite large, there are three swimming pools, and the exclusive beach around it is very nice. It is convenient for catching sea babies and I like it. It is very suitable for a leisurely vacation.
I bought a two-day package and the hotel is responsible for picking up and dropping off from Chong Lard Pier. The staff's service attitude is good and they can remember every resident. I stayed for three days and two nights. I didn't meet any Chinese tourists. Most of them were white people. There are local restaurants nearby. It was quite a lot and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the family was a little acclimated and had a poor appetite, so they didn't eat much. The sand digging tools for children in the small shops around are a bit expensive, so it is recommended to bring your own

KKel226622My family and I stayed at Santhiya for 3 nights! We were amazed with how big this resort was and the many different activities you can do here including paddling, free yoga, and Muay Thai! We loved both the beach and the pool at the top of the resort. The pier is a major plus at this resort as it was beautiful to lap out and watch the sunset! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating!
The only downside of this resort is that the rooms were a bit musty and dark since we had garden view rooms. But they did help my parents to relocate room :) While there are multiple restaurants options the menus seem similar and a little overpriced for Thai dishes. There are some cheaper restaurants down the beach that we enjoyed!
Overall, we would definitely go back but we would try to get a room that is higher up or facing water. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

WWoyaohuanyoushijiecmcThe package booked by Xiyou can be booked during the National Day without additional charge. The three-night stay includes pier pick-up and drop-off. The transportation is convenient. The airport to the pier takes half an hour by car, and the speedboat takes about half an hour. The hotel has a car to pick up and it takes more than ten minutes to arrive. There is a welcome gift at the lobby. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very new, with complete facilities. The room is spacious and bright, with a full sea view, and is cleaned twice a day. The surrounding ecological environment is good, and there are many ghost crabs on the beach in front of the hotel. It is very close to Hong Island in Krabi from the pier. The hotel has rich vegetation, beautiful environment, and a great swimming pool. The breakfast is complete, the Western restaurant and Japanese cuisine are delicious, and the cocktails can be delivered to the room and the waiter will mix them on the spot. In short, everything is great. I hope I can go again during the holiday next year.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice but I should have realised from the photos it would be over-run with screaming kids! The beachfront location is stunning and the beach is lovely and clean, walk down to the beachfront early if you'd like one of the hotel loungers brought onto the beach, it's very peaceful until the loud families and Russians turn up a bit later! The breakfast was basic, I would like to see more choices, a bigger selection of fresh fruit and better coffee machines (they were constantly breaking during our stay). The restaurant menu wasn't that great, and the staff in the restaurant were not very attentive. There are a selection of lovely local restaurants and cafes nearby that have much better food, I'd recommend trying some of them, all walking distance. the room was good, although nowhere near enough shower gel, shampoo etc for two of us to use, thankfully we brought our own. No sound proofing from other nearby rooms which was annoying when we had to sleep early and the neighbours were awake until 3am on their balcony. The lagoon style pool around the resort is a great idea but not great if you don't want screaming kids splashing around outside your room all the time, even late when the pool was supposed to be shut. All in all it was a nice stay for families but as a couple we would not book here again as we prefer more peace and quiet!

The beach is only a short walk down from the hostel where there is a bar and you can catch beautiful sunsets. The hosts were amazing, cooking fresh meals for amazing prices. 100% recommend.
