lovely location, attached pic from the beach @ sunset. well worth the trek - the island is a 30-minute ferry trek from east Phuket but feels a million miles away! staff are friendly & helpful, restaurant is top notch. five stars!!

It was a beautiful spot on the seashore, close to the north pier. The sandy beach was flat and very wide, and we could see the islands in the distance.

We stayed here for three nights in a Honeymoon Villa. It’s most definitely a 3*+ place and not 4*. The room was ok, and as others have said a few more power outlets wouldn’t go amiss. The bed was ok for a few hours and after that becomes a bit of a torture device. The pool is ok, but by modern standard a bit of an uninspired block. All ‘ok’ rather than ‘wow’. The main issue with the place though is the restaurant, it really is properly terrible. If you are on a package including evening meal then that gets you the set menu, which is the same every day. And that menu is a choice of one thing - the same unchanging thing every day. You will have the same thing day after day unless you then pay for something else. And God help you if you are vegetarian as then the food options then really are awful. Technically the restaurant is run separately to the hotel as you pay them separately, but to all intents if you are a guest it is the hotel’s restaurant, in the hotel grounds, where you have breakfast, etc. If you are going here, it’s ok, but think of it as a 3* and you’ll be pleased, but not as a 4*. And do not eat here, rent a scooter and there are really good restaurants 5-10 minutes away to the right at the top of the road, or about 25 minutes away to the left. On the subject of the scooters, the hotel charges 700 baht a day for them, but walk five minutes to the top of the road and the place up there is 250 baht for the day. The hotel also gets very finger-waggy about ‘if you have a puncture you pay for recovery and for the new tyre’, but given the state of the roads a puncture is hardly the fault of the rider and is an inevitability at some point for some poor rider. Seems excessively harsh.

They scam you off with the scooters. U get an old scooter for 350 baht a day and make you pay 250baht for the flat tire it already had(was completely run down and dangerous for us and our kid) Apart from that it’s a cute place with nice pools, the rooms smell a bit moldy.

Beautiful island, beautiful hotel. Kindly staff especially Chris the baar tender. Breakfast buffe was great, good food. Island and hotel were silent, you can totally rest in this place. If you go to phi phi islands the ferry is picking you up from the pier front of hotell. Quite expensive food considering to like Koh Lanta.

In general it’s a nice resort, with friendly staff and a good breakfast, close to the beach.
The room on the other hand was disappointing, it’s a nice modern, spacious room on itself, but the airco is making SO much noise that you can’t put it on during the night, which makes the room too hot to sleep. The room smells like mould. When we arrived there was still a dirty towel from the previous guest in a drawer which gives not so much confidence about cleanliness …
