"We stayed one night and mostly relaxing at the place. Excellent location, on sunrise beach and then can walk to sunset beach in the evening which is nearby, less crowded beach. Service by the hotel staff is also excellent 😁 The breakfast and lunch we ordered was good..
Although do think they should make it adult only hotel as kids in the other villas during the day can be noisy which can’t be avoided. Otherwise Great for couples for special occasion or a romantic getaway 👍🏼"
"Koh Tarutao National park is a GEM! 💎
We spent an incredible 9 days in a Grand Garden room and it was great. Location location location! Very nice staff everywhere and the shuttle to walking street was effective. You can book all of your transportation with them through email and even book a private boat to come pick you up for a day (DO IT!).
Con’s: 1 Groundwater supply. It is brown and ruined multiple clothing items of white color. 2 Breakfast: while there was a large selection, only a select few items were healthy options. Symbolic cafe at the beach has way better options, but it’s expensive and not included. The orange juice is fake with sugar and so are the other drinks available. Again the staff were great but please consider removing the gesture from the man at 10am who tells each table that breakfast is ending. There are signs and the timing is listed in the booking details, it felt insincere and you could tell he wasn’t comfortable doing it either. 3 the cleaner was ineffective, leaving the ground water stains to build up in the sink and the toilet. Changed sheets every 3 days even though they were brown from the water. She was kind and sincere."
"Tide was crazily high with lots of debris and rubbish, sandbags at front door exposed so all around looked pretty untidy. Very clean room, lovely staff, no English spoken, wrong time of year for Koh Lipe, not many shops open in the street, rubbish all over the island and only a few hotels open and ready. Motorbikes/sidebars whizz up and down walking street which is narrow, so look have to look out for them constantly. Retailers not friendly as so bored without customers in Sept/Oct. Covids had a huge effect on this beautiful island, won't be coming back for a couple of years unfortunately...all looked very grim!!!"

"The hotel is located on the beach and has complete facilities and activities. The only bad thing is that the hotel is located in the north, and the journey to the hotel is long and winding, passing through a small village. The service and reception are warm. Although the room is made of wood, it has good privacy. There is no hot water supply for bathing. There is no air conditioning, but the fan is cool enough. There is a safe but no TV. The wifi signal is average. Maybe the room is located too far inside. It is particularly worth mentioning that the breakfast included in the room is very rich and generous, and fruits and drinks are available from the self-service. A very satisfying stay. 😍"

"It's an absolutely fantastic hotel. The boss is very understanding of human nature and is able to approach the hotel service from the customer's perspective, handling every detail meticulously. For instance, offering complimentary refillable bottled water not only addresses the inconvenience of purchasing water due to the hotel's remote location but also solves the issue of operational costs. Beach towels are changed daily. The reception speaks three languages: Chinese, English, and Thai, enabling them to understand the hotel staying habits and lifestyle characteristics of different ethnicities, taking into account their needs in detail. The isolation of the rooms is also excellent; initially, it was assumed that wooden houses would have ants and various insects, but the sealing turned out to be better than expected. Additionally, after check-out, the staff takes the responsibility of transporting guests to their next hotel, not just dropping them at the entrance but also assisting with luggage to the reception of the next hotel."
"Located at the end of Pattaya Beach, beautiful scenic view of Koh Lipe. The room is superb, clean and spacious with the most comfortable bed and big soft pillows. Balcony has a great view of the sea, with a hammock to relax. Food service is excellent, lots of choice in their breakfast menu plus its a halal and muslim owned hotel. Excellent and very friendly staffs, everyone is so warm and welcoming. Will definitely return here again on our next visit to Koh Lipe!"
"We enjoyed our stay at Chareena Beachside. Staff were SO helpful & welcoming to us, be it the receptionists , maintainance and the restaurant servers, please keep up the good service so more can experience your great service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach was nearby and AMAZING. Definitely will return!!!"
"It took 1.5 hours to get to Koh Lipe from Koh Muka by speedboat. The pier is a pontoon type, and the hotel staff met us on it and took our things on a cart to the hotel. The walk to the hotel is 300-400 meters in total, you can easily walk there yourself. The location is good. Almost all the houses are positioned so that you can see the sea. There's not much point in taking Sia View. The room is large, we had a second floor with a large balcony. Corresponds to the photo on Trip.com. Breakfast is good. Rice porridge soup, rice, noodles, eggs, sausages, ham, juice, coffee, muesli, toast, vegetables, two types of fruit. The distance to the beach where you see the sunrise is 900 meters, where the sunset is the same. To the north, where the view of neighboring Adang is slightly larger. We walked everywhere. There are many restaurants, but you have to choose. I liked the Chinese two, the duck was just lovely, the grilled fish too. The location of the hotel is convenient - right in front of the hotel due to the presence of corals, there are no boats. There are also restaurants, only the beach and the sea. Swimming at night was great, the water was clear, we didn’t see any nocturnal creatures, like in Egypt. I recommend downloading the tide schedule. The hotel is very good in terms of price-quality ratio."
"We loved castaway the bungalows were decorated really nicely and staff were there to help with anything. It was very hot as you’ll read in other reviews but they gave us an extra fan which did the trick. They also gave us mosquito spray for the room. I would recommend taking ear plugs and an eye mask as there is no soundproofing from the noises of the Forrest and from other people in their bungalows which can be quite loud. There isn’t really an option to sit in the sun since it’s mostly shaded by trees but it’s easy enough to walk up the beach and find a spot elsewhere."

Very Good
AAnonymous UserVery nice charming small resort with few bungalows. It was my 2nd time at Koh Lipe. Tried different hotels. I’ve booked a garden villa at Bulow Casa. One of the best location on the island, very peaceful, just next to the Zodiac bar which is the spot for sunset. The villas are very comfortable and spacious. I liked the decoration. Free Tuk Tuk until 6 pm and the staff is very kind. However, the service of the restaurant is not at the level we expect for this price. Compared to some other hotels, the reactivity is quite slow… Needed to wait long time for our orders and that, several times. And it wasn’t the peak season yet… wondering how they will manage with a full capacity of the hotel. So I think it needs some little improvements… I’ve not been impressed by the food as well. Good breakfast though. we finished to take our dinner in some other restaurants located more south of the sunrise beach.
GGuest UserA very, very, very memorable resort.
Facilities: The cabins are natural-style, with poor sound insulation, but the advantages are not enough. It is acceptable for the scenery.
Hygiene: Cleaning is very timely. Basically, our room can be cleaned before noon, which is in sharp contrast with Ananya.
Environment: Absolutely 100 points. We went to all three beaches. If you are with children, you must choose sunrise. First of all, there is a reef at the entrance of October. You can see many crabs and small fish in the evening; secondly, there are shade trees, and children are not afraid of sun exposure when playing in the sand.
Service: The service is excellent. On the last day, we moved to Ananya and were sent there by boat. The front desk stood on the beach and waved goodbye to us, which was very enthusiastic. The most common thing I heard from the front desk these days is that it’s ok, whatever you want. The hotel has various snorkeling supplies, beach toys, and life jackets for rent, all free of charge.
Breakfast is a menu, which is relatively simple, but tastes good. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are too lazy to go out, you can choose to eat directly in the hotel.
All in all, really like it here!
GGuest UserFantastic place, attention to each detail, beautiful hotel territory, well designed room with a unique design, very rich and tasty breakfast buffet. We stayed in Garden Villa close to the beach and it was wonderful. Food and drink in the beach bar are of a good level and reasonable prices, their young coconuts are fantastically fresh. Staff is incredible and try to assist you with everything. Keep in mind that hotel is spread over the hill, we had beach level villa, but there are many that are located upper and you have to climb many stairs. But for a short climbing it’s fine, good for health. Though can be a big minus for older travelers. Definitely I will stay here again on my next visit to Lipe.
AAnonymous UserWe are a group of four, and the room is spacious. The bed is very comfortable. They provided baggage services, sending our luggage to the pier when we checked out. The hotel is located at Pattaya Beach, just a short walk from Walking Street and the pier. Breakfast offers a variety of options, from Asian to Western.
One minor issue is that the water pressure for the shower is slightly low.
Beautiful view from room, worth its price. Will still come back if revisit kohlipe.
RRobertWe stayed at Sita resort for a week
We had a room near the restaurant and front desk. The accommodations were clean and the room had all the amenities of home including a romantic outside bath. The grounds were kept up the pool was sparkling And of course the beach that was only a few hundred feet from our room was amazing
I would highly recommend this resort
SSam_HoustonEvery once and a while you enter a property that transports you to another plane—certainly physically, more than likely emotionally, and possibly even spiritually.
Serendipity delivers on all fronts. The ocean-view villa made me pine for loved ones, as I initially felt guilty for experiencing such a property by myself. I imagined my folks opening the shuttered windows and gazing out at the sunrise each morning. I wished my niece and nephew were sitting on the villa-wide balcony, keeping me company. Yet as the days passed, I fell comfortably in love with being alone in such a magnetic space.
Steps from the most intimate, private stretch of Sunrise Beach, Serendipity balances up-scale bohemia with laid-back sophistication.
The owner, fortunately, is also a chef—noted in each dish served. Welcoming and gregarious, he was approachable without being overbearing.
Honeymoon—yes. Intimate anniversary—absolutely. Elderly parents—possibly a challenge due to the inclined stairways. However, anyone healthy should be able to navigate the surroundings easily.
Low season was a dream…
Thank you, Serendipity.
X,
Sam
SSiew TeingThe staff will pick you up from the pier and it's free. Upon arrival they will tell you the rules.
Room is big and spacious, the only thing not good is the water pipe is leakage. The floor is quite oily and I almost fall down for few times. Other than that hotel facility is good, got a welcome drink upon arrival. Free snorkelling glass and kayak.
Breakfast is good too .
Forgot what's the name of the staff at the breakfast bar, but the curly hair boy did a great job serving the breakfast.
PPC Chin117We had a fantastic stay at the Resort which was very conveniently located close to the jetty landing. Being situated at the end of the Sunset Beach, it was less busy and expose to the general public, making it rather private. We had to change the room the first day due to a plumbing issue in one of our rooms. The resort was also very accommodating in changing the 2nd room to a ground floor unit as I’d suffered a knee injury prior to the holiday. The daily buffet breakfast had wide choices and something to look forward to even after 4 nights. Kudos to the ever helpful receptionists and Boy who was super helpful and informative. Will definitely be a choice of stay again.
WWai KuenA perfect place to stay. 2 minutes walk to Pattaya beach. Hotel provide free shuttle from hotel to the immigration. A nice hideaway in the garden. Quite from the busy walking street which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel via beach.
ЮЮлияThe hotel is a bit away from all the action. Its own clean pool on the beach, albeit tiny. Towels are provided. The staff is nice, but the cleaning is so-so)
The breakfasts are good. The room is so-so, there are cracks in the floor, it's old, the sockets don't work, they spark, instead of 2 beds there is a double and a single bed, they gave 3 beds with one single bed. It's a bit strange to sleep like that. There was no table in the room. But there was a beautiful cat with kittens. Please feed the cats when you stay at this hotel and pour fresh water🫶
