Hotels Near Daya Beach in Koh Lipe

It was good in general but a bit below expectations from a pricey 4-star hotel. Territory is nice, breakfast is good. The rooms are not isolated well enough which led to insects and wild life making its way inside and us chasing it away. The safe broke down 2 days before our departure, so it was a hassle to wait for someone to open it, and it was not fixed the next day, so we had to carry valuables with us which was inconvenient.

Pros: the location is perfect, not far from the pier, from the entrance to Walken Street from Pattaya Beach. The sand on the beach is very fine, pleasant. There are sun loungers, there is shade from a tree, on the beach, there is where to hide from the sun. Right opposite the hotel there is a massage ”tent”. It was popular. Cons: old rooms. The breakfast is modest, but there are such delicacies as, for example, olives.

Great Escape Hotel. We went to Lipe to celebrate my mother's PhD graduation, but a massive storm near Lipe delayed our trip and forced us to enter the back side of the island. Although, the hotel's concierge team knew where to pick us up (along with our stuff). We got a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel. It seemed like our hotel restaurant was the only open place on the beach that day due to the heavy storm, but the food was excellent. Some shops on the walking street opened for us to buy souvenirs. However, our family still had a good time together. When we stayed, our rooms were clean and neat, but there were a lot of leaves in the pool.

Very helpful staff, breakfast buffet ok, room nice and big, with fridge and heated balcony for drying clothes etc. Location right next to Walking Street on the beach. But, the beach outside the hotel is full of boats, people waiting for the ferries etc, so not very nice and no beach chairs, BIG minus for us.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. I especially enjoyed the swimming pool and on-site restaurant, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

The property itself is fantastic, with excellent facilities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was absolutely lovely – the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, making us feel right at home. Plus, the location is ideal, making it easy to explore the area. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend this hotel to everyone!

They do care about visitors: 1. Very strong pressure of water 2. Drying rack for your cloths 3. Cold room when you enter it. AC works even when you are out. Each time you return to room it's in optimal temperature. 4. Breakfast with really wide range of options. 5. Many towels 6. Beach bag 7. Very good lighting system 8. Upgraded room for free and even didn't told me about that. 9. Free delivery to/from walking street/jetty. Some drawbacks can be found, but they are minor.

Nice beach, good location in proximity to all restaurants and walking street. However, breakfast as quite poor, we was charged for second breakfast even though 2 breakfast were included in room when booked. Lady barmen is really really rude and unreasonable..prices charged really randomly… The pool is good, however swimming towels only can be changed once a day…

Looks quite new compared to other hotels, a/c works all the time even when you go out and take a card key which is very nice. And it cools down the room incredibly, a must in April and May. We liked the room but there’s an area for improvement: you can see some impurities here and there: old bedsheets with stains, the tub in the bathroom with some part falling off. They are not big, but better to fix them. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of options, even the noodles station, the roti station, ice cream and bloodie mary station hahaha A lot of good fruits such as rambutan, passion fruits, etc. not just watermelon and dragon fruits like at other hotels across Thailand. Sunrise beach itself is a bit disappointing because of the amount of boats there and almost no place to swim but this hotel has the designated beach where you can enjoy swimming and definitely some good sunsets. Overall it’s a good place to stay for more than a day if you want to stay at the sunrise Beach area, but my personal favorite is the North pole beach (20-25 min walk along the beach). Things to improve: - service staff should be careful with bags, I know they try to be helpful but one of the guys broke a handle of my carry on bag. - Starbacks cafe on the beach — this is a disaster, they advertise other as a Starbucks coffee shop, with the original drinks and recipes but for 180 thb they will give you iced milk instead of iced cappuccino. Better to buy some good medium roast beans from the Borth of Thailand and serve proper coffee. You don’t need that Starbucks brand definitely.

Absolutely a wonderfull hotel. Great location, great rooms and the view from balcony is stunning. The staff is very very nice, and rhe kitchen is very high standard. The beach infront of the hotel offer you very clean water and the best possible snorkeling. Just like being in a aquarium..
