The atmosphere is good, suitable for relaxing.
But the room smells musty, like a bit too much damp cloth.
There is very little breakfast. If compared to the room price and breakfast price
And the menu doesn't have much variety at all. Those who don't eat pork have even fewer options. And some of the salad vegetables have even rotted. Notify the staff and act like nothing happened.
Disappointed that this is not the first time staying here.
After getting past Covid, I thought it would get better, but it didn't.

I have stayed in 3 hotels on the island. This is my favorite one. The bathroom and bathroom are so cute. There is 711 as soon as I walk out. The location is very good and the price/performance ratio is very high. I will definitely recommend friends to come here. It is a pity that I can’t get a free hotel in the rainy season. I booked for 3 nights but I left the next day, a real bad experience the hotel is lost and abandoned the staff is cold and non-existent, the room infested with insects and very old. the strong point is the breakfast which is a horror without doubt the worst of my life.
I left quickly the first day without looking back, a real relief to be saved from this hotel. TO FLEE

Very nice cozy place. Rooms are nice and spacious. Every room has outdoor sitting area. Pool is nice and view is excellent. Market is near by, just a few minutes walking distance from the resort. There are some good resturants with DJ or live music next door.

We loved this place. The people were lovely (of course it's Thailand). Garden is beautiful and you are right next to the beach. The rooms have a rustic kind of feel which we liked. We travelled as a 4 person family. The 2 rooms actually connected internally which was really useful for us. Lots of time spent in the hammock out front. Our 4 year old spent a lot of time in the pool. It's partially shaded which was a big bonus for me as i get sunburnt easily Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs cooked as you like, bottomless coffee, fresh fruit etc. There is a bar/restaurant next door playing cheesy tourist dance music but that didn't bother us. In fact we ate there a bit and it was decent. They have fire dancing shows every night it seems We spent most of the time eating lunch and dinner at the fancy resort restaurant 10 mins walk down the beach which had amazing food and ambience. The beach is fantastic, eagles soaring overhead all day with lush forest everywhere, not very built up. It's kinda rocky at low tide where the resort is. Best idea in general is to walk a min or so down the beach if you want to go for a swim for pure sand

We stayed here in 2016 and came back briefly 2 years ago. It has rustic old world charm and feels like Thailand used to 25 years ago. There is no girly bar scene, it's quiet and perfect for families. If you are into shiny modern, it may not be for you. The staff are fantastic especially, with our now five year old son. You are straight out onto the beach which is nearly always empty, due to the Pimalai down the road. Like all Thai beaches it is public, therefore it's unlikely you will see any new development any time soon. Some good food nearby at Same Same down the beach and Drunken Sailor up the road. Next door is the Why Not Bar and a friendly, good restaurant.
