Amazing place. Thought i was in a Zelda level. not on the best beach, but close enough. Made a mistake with the booking and paid too much for a family suite i didn't need but hey that's my fault.

For a night at 3 to 15€ with breakfast included (the homemade bread is delicious), the small bungalow does the job. It feels like sleeping in the jungle (animal noises at night and rooster at sunrise)
The swimming pool is great because they provide games and buoys for children.
The hotel is located in the middle of the west coast so far from the market to the north and the beautiful beaches to the south.
Small restaurant 2 minutes walk away run by a great family!!

We loved Mook Lanta! Run by lovely Oscar and his wife Kristin with their great friendly staff, they arranged the best snorkel trips and 4 island tours for us! Got us a good motorbike for rent and arranged our onward travel tickets! Can’t say thanks enough to making our holiday so great! And don’t miss out on the great breakfast with homemade bread or their fun Friday parties!! Loved our Bungalow and can’t recommend Mook lanta enough. Already looking forward to our next visit!! See you Oscar!

I normally don't write reviews but I just had to make an exception this time. The bungalows have everything you need, are clean, very affordable, very close to beach and restaurants. On top of that the breakfast is absolutely delicious. But the main reason I would return to Mook Lanta is the owner and staff. The owner is awesome. He makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and is extremely helpful

I have stayed at Mook numerous times before but this was my first stay with the new owners. Oscar was super easy to deal with and book through he also arranged my airport transfers and bike rental so i had nothing else to do when i arrived. i had a late checkin but Oscar was waiting for me showed me to my room then we went for a beer. Great way to get to know each other. My overall stay was excellent great room etc I would definitely recommend a stay at Mook and I will return Thank you Oscar

I stayed for 4 nights at the Mook Lanta Eco Resort in January 2019 while on a diving holiday with Lanta Divers. I split my stay between this resort and Relax Bay Resort (10 nights). I had stayed at Relax Bay before and was unsure about the Mook Lanta for the whole vacation - I now wish I had stayed at the Mook Lanta for the whole vacation. The rooms are basic, but adds to the experience of being in Thailand and on the beautiful Koh Lanta island. Clean and functional. I stayed in a cozy fan bamboo bungalow. When I return to Thailand and Koh Lanta, I will be staying at Mook Lanta - I highly recommend this resort.
