Very welcoming, friendly staff. Rooms were ok, location was fine. Pool was nice. Close enough to the beach. Koh Lanta was nice, but personally not for myself or my partner, everything was too far apart, if you didn't get a moped you were a little stuck.

Excellent resort situated 5 min walk from long beach and next door to KoHub coworking. The location is however a bit quieter than other areas. 7-11 is a bit of a walk, but there are a couple of mini marts and restaurants around. Not an issue if you have a scooter but by foot it was a bit limited. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept on in Thailand (not rock hard like many others). Staff are very kind and helpful. Would stay again.

Il est précisé rénové en 2024 c’est totalement faux, il y a un nouveau bâtiment avec 4 chambres c’est tout. Je vous rassure c’est loin d’être rénové. Le gros plus c’est la piscine qui est vraiment top, elle est grande avec assez de transat sur le bord et super chaude. Ça fait du bien de pouvoir s’y poser. Sinon le service est très en dessous de la base que l’on souhaite en vacance..
Évitez les petit déjeuner c’est ridicule, il y en a pas loin de l’hôtel qui sont excellent et pas cher !

It is our second time staying here in a few weeks because we love it so much. It has a lovely pool and a really chilled, family feel to it. Really recommend it! Has absolutely everything you need- washing, scooter hire, a bar and a restaurant. The staff are great. Just don’t hesitate and book it!

We originally planned to have a poolside room, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, the preferred room wasn’t available on the day we arrived. The hotel has 4 ‘cottage’s’ at the back (not advertised on website) and we were offered one of these with the option of moving to the poolside room the following day. After a really good nights sleep we decided to stay in the cottage room as it was really quiet and had a great shower, and it was only a quick walk to the pool. We stayed for 16 nights and made use of the swimming pool daily. The hotel offers breakfast / drinks and snacks etc, but as we were visiting family locally. we didn’t try the food here, but it looked good. The staff were lovely and the hotel and grounds were kept clean and tidy. Fresh bottles of water were provided daily and the fridge in the room was handy. Once we’d worked out how to adjust the air conditioning so it was silent at night everything was fine. It’s a 10 min walk to the beach (walk to top of the road, cross the main road, then walk through the resort) where we saw some amazing sunsets. Will be looking to book a stay here again next time. Recommend this as a great place to stay.

Cannot recommend Morakot Lanta highly enough!
The family who own and run the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The whole place is spotless and we simply couldn’t fault it. We were able to check in early and after a very early start that day plus a long ferry journey it was really appreciated. Pool/beach towels provided each day and room cleaned to a high standard.
