Booked through trip.com because of the beautiful photos of the view and bath on the balcony. Unfortunately, this soon turned out to be a scam on arrival. The hotel has suffered quite a lot over the years, little to no maintenance and the room itself was very disappointing. Dirty furniture with unexplained stains, poor hygiene and heavily outdated. used flip flops in the room...
After contacting trip.com, we were asked to ask the hotel manager for a refund ourselves. He shot completely in Defence mode at our request. No other rooms available, no plans to find a solution and a refund was anything but possible. After we made it known that he left no choice but to give a bad review, he started screaming and we left because we feel unsafe. +€400 down the drain. So be careful before booking this hotel. We are now looking with trip.com to see if we can still get a (partial) refund.

The room has a balcony, facing the sea directly, the scenery is good, and the service is super good, but there are no swimming pools and other entertainment facilities, and there are no convenience stores, restaurants and markets around, so it is very inconvenient to travel, share the beach with the hotel next door, and the stairs to the beach It's a bit steep, and it's tiring to climb up and down.

Perfect view, spectacular food and the staff was absolutely amazing. I rarely write reviews. But this place deserves a good one. Cliff Lanta does thai food in a classy way that fits perfectly with the view. The massaman is especially amazing. Not a bad seat in the restaurant. The staff are all smiles and are so absolutely sweet. Make you feel very welcome and at home in paradise. PLUS, the rooms have a bath on the balcony overlooking the cliff that is arguably the best sunset view on the island. You do have to go down a few steps to get to the beach. But so easy and close. 1 minute walk down. Plus the beach is quite empty compared to other beaches and just as beautiful. The beds are quite soft...which, if you travel in thailand much, you know is sometimes rare. Great stay and/or restaurant.

We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, and we are so happy and satisfied with it! Spectacular (!) view over the sea with the sunset from the balcony. Alice, who manages the place, speaks decent English and is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in planning various things. She is great! We visited the place during the low season, which is why we were the only guests there, but nonetheless, Alice and the other staff provided outstanding service. Breakfast was ordered the evening before to ensure fresh ingredients. Very delicious! The place is located a bit away from the city center, but definitely within walking distance. However, we still decided to rent a scooter. Alice was also helpful with this. The room we stayed in was almost embarrassingly clean, and there was ample storage space. The bathroom was spacious and had excellent bathing facilities. The air conditioning worked well. And once again... an incredible view. Gazing out over the sea from the bed. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we would have loved to stay there for more days.

Lovely small 8 room hotel set high above the sea. Exceptional views from both room and restaurant. Most comfortable bed. Great staff but be prepared for some miming to makeup for their lack of English. Cook does an excellent breakfast. For a 3 star hotel has an excellent restaurant, if a bit pricey.

I was stunned the moment I opened the room. You can face the sea while lying on the bed. There is also a bathroom. You can also face the sea while lying in the bathtub. My mood instantly improved. Standing on the balcony, you can see PP in the depths of the sea. Island and Haa Island. The hotel staff are very helpful. Everyone is so friendly and enthusiastic. It was such a pleasure to spend two days with them. I regret that I only booked a room for two nights. I will definitely stay a few more days when I come to Koh Lanta next year. .
