Amazing beach! The hotel area is a well-kept garden, very beautiful. Great breakfasts! The prices are not low, but with discounts it is quite an acceptable price/quality ratio. The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but after the pandemic, cosmetic repairs and major cleaning are noticeable. Although the covering on the verandas still needs replacing - just nails are sticking out in places - the child was not allowed to run around there. The hotel restaurant is probably the most frustrating thing, the prices are super high, the quality of the food is low: for almost 500 baht (price 400 + fees + taxes), we got a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm from frozen dough. This is a fiasco, bro. In general, only beer and then for 150 baht. There is all the infrastructure on the road 800 meters away, including fruits and cafes and hardware stores, but 800 meters uphill) you can ask the hotel transport to take you there, but back on foot, albeit from a hill))) but with almost no lighting. Karrche needs to take a bike, 300 baht per day, by the way, it’s brand new. In general, for the experience of a paradise for 7900 rubles / night - it’s the best!

The environment did not have to say, open the door is the sea view, the hotel breakfast is a set meal, the choice is effective, but the lunch is still very delicious, the price is a little expensive, but it is acceptable. Considering how remote it is, the island is worth a visit. We can't expect to be able to come to such a small and cozy place with an airport, now, can we? Well, this place will no longer be a private residence, yes... every beautiful modern The bungalows are a little paradise of their own. The hotel rooms and pool and restaurant are quaint and elegant, so everything is immaculate. The staff are great. I like not being bothered by the western style of sales. I wanted to ask what I wanted, and with that, I was never interrupted, never interrupted, when I asked for a drink. Really, waking up to such an affordable drink served in a glass with ice is an absolute treat in such a beautiful location. The open restaurant is just a few steps away from the sea. Great food for such a low price. Super easy walkways lead to each private bungalow. It's not a great feeling to read the reviewers' comments, well, where do you think you're going to travel? If you feel like you belong in this resort, then here you go. It reminds me of the feeling and atmosphere when I first visited Koh Chang 20 years ago. Just, such high end. To create the atmosphere, it costs double to stay in these rooms compared to the rest of the world. Yes, there is shallow water and very attractive black rocks. Before you go, please take note of this and please enjoy this beautiful pool. You can also rent a motorbike or golf cart to go to the beach. Everyone is happy here and a review on trip advisor can really make a difference in a person's life and business. Please take into account where we are talking, for example, there are no remote islands where the wifi would not be without signal. And just because a server isn't an *****, doesn't mean he doesn't want to help you. We really love this resort, we were there last February and we will be going back this November. We've been all the way to Thailand just to get pah bala. It's quiet, all private and the house feels perfect. Please make sure to contact me when you have specific questions. Resort is on top of a hill so no direct beach access. Closest beach is cococape beach which is beautiful and if you just go around the corner you will have a lonely beach with beautiful dark rocks stuck in the white sand. Another great beach is close to seavana and koh mak resort about 15 min walking. Motorbike rental is 250 baht per day and gas ablut 40 baht per liter. Massages are 350 baht per hour. It was the best massage I had in all of Thailand. Kayak rental can be done at cococape or koh mak resort. Hotel has a pick up service for free when you arrive at the pier. There are many live concerts at various locations on the island as well as fireshows and night markets. The resort itself is very clean, quiet, AC works fine and shower has hot water. Pool is cleaned everyday and breakfast was very good. Staff is super friendly. I paid about 90 USD per night which is a high price for koh mak, but compared to other resorts it is very high standard resort. Never had problems with sandflies (I stayed for 8 days) but I do recommend to take mosquito spray.

We have a great time staying at Mira Montra Koh Mak. Front desk is very kind and helpful. Room is clean, bed is super comfortable. Free to borrow kayak, sup board and snorkeling equipments. Thanks to N’ Chai for recommending snorkeling spot at Koh Phi, that we can go there by kayaking. At Koh Phi diving spot is full of sea anemone, pink anemone fish and pack of various kind of fish. But not recommend when strong wind, high wave and strong currents quite risk. Hope to have spend more days here again.

Excellent resort in a perfect setting. The staff are brilliant, very attentive. The air conditioned rooms are good standard with very comfortable large bed and fantastic shower. A good choice of breakfast. Don’t forget to bring some mosquito repellent! I would also recommend the massage service - a bit pricey for Thailand but you are on an island and it’s well worth it👌

The resort has a stunning outlook onto the sea, great, but small pool, great rooms, some with roof terraces & is very relaxed. The restaurant's food is superbly presented, however unfortunately, the service is poor and let it down. Both times we dined there we had to go and find our own menus, noone brought them to us. The food took a long time to come and, though it was well-presented, some of it was cold. They forgot my wife's main dish and despite enquiring about it twice with a waitress who didn't seem to speak English and just giggled and walked off, it never arrived. This was really disappointing and marred our stay which would have otherwise been very relaxing. After we complain they did eventually apologise and discounted out bill by one dish but it wasn't great. The resort can arrange golf buggy hire for you to tour the island for 800 THB for 5 hours (that and 10 hours only options - no shorter time) which is worth doing. Also nice to walk out on the sand when the tide goes all the way out

Rooms and site is great but service is way below standard BUT FIXABLE IF THEY JUST GET RID OF PHONES AND SMILE … everywhere else in SE Asia staff are told no phones on duty and the smiles in SE Asia are contagious … To The Sea needs to get their act in order … 1. 55 year olds had to navigate when get off a speedboat along a narrow bridge .. No one greets you .. very scary 2. Staff on their phones 24/7 at the bar, main desk, dining room .. constantly having to disturb staff on their phones to get water, their attention Breakfast is at 7 but staff are so busy on phones it doesn’t start till 730 and even then food is all stock … chilis and condiments empty day one still empty day 4 3. Staff at bar more interested in their phones then serving staff. We were inconveniencing them 4. ONLY Mr Green seems interested to do his job of the waiting staff. Staff need some supervision to get off their phones and get to work 5. Staff at free water toys need to get off phone and assist with booking, moving boats etc .. New guests need assistance navigating over the rocks 6. Cleaning staff and groundskeepers are AMAZING ..they actually smile and maintain the property the best on the bay The site is amazing The rooms are amazing The grounds are amazing BUT be ready to eat next door for service !!!
