Good afternoon, I would like to share my holiday at this hotel, January 25. I would like to say right away that the hotel is located on a separate, small island of Ko Kho Khao, IMPORTANT! This is not Khao Lak, you will have to get there by boat across the bay. On the island, a 5-minute walk from the hotel, there are about 5 cafes / restaurants from locals, they cook for you and they serve you, it's like a family business, there are 2 mini stores with essentials (you will not find 7-Eleven here)). Of the restaurants on Ko Kho Khao, where the hotel is located, I can recommend the one with the Fire Show, it is located near the pier, everyone should definitely try and see it. If you order tempura shrimp, be sure to ask for them to be peeled. Since the Thais live by the sabai-sabai principle, on the first day they presented us with unpeeled, head-on, fried tempura shrimp) Be careful with this. Regarding the boats, something like a longtail, only assembled from improvised sticks on the island and with a car motor attached. They will be happy to take you, your things and your bike around the clock, from the pier of the main island of Khao Lak to your island where the hotel is located. But, there is always a but, of course, you will have to pay them for each of your trips. Also, at the pier of Khao Lak, there is a local gang of taxi drivers who will take you to the city center for a conditional $ 30-40, the price can change, of course. We do not like to spend whole days on the beach, and each trip to the center cost a pretty penny. By the end of the vacation, we realized that all the money we saved on a hotel further from the center, we had to give to get there. This is the first minus, if you like active recreation, nightlife, look for something in Khao Lak. We go further around the area, the beach near the hotel, because it is not far from the pier and those same boats that take tourists back and forth, is very dirty, during our entire stay, we never swam there. For beautiful views and clean water, we had to go either up Ko Kho Khao to the north, or cross over and go to Khao Lak. What is inside the hotel, a huge area but very little entertainment, there are a couple of billiard tables, a library in Thai and that's it, no parties, celebrations, the hotel has never had. Breakfasts are delicious, but we did not have enough variety. Our entire vacation we ate scrambled eggs and vegetables, we did not risk trying the rest. As for the rooms, everything in the room is very modest, a bed, a TV, a table and a couple of chairs (what else do you need? A Thai will ask:)) A safe and a hairdryer were brought to us an hour after checking in, we had to run around for them a little. Wi-Fi worked great throughout the entire area. But the hotel staff speaks very poor Russian, as well as English, you will have to run after it with a translator. The rooms were cleaned on a whim, if you don't ask, they won't change the bed linen and towels, they won't wipe the dust, they won't clean the bathroom and toilet. As we understood, their standard cleaning is to throw out the trash, make the bed nicely and put the shoes in a row) Oh, and add some water
