The salt river lodge is a really beautiful place. The ground are really good. The cottages are really well laid out and we'll equipped. We enjoyed canoeing around the lake which was great fun. The linen is off very good quality and the time are very clean

The only problems we had during our stay was the unavailability of the WiFi, which was put down to the constant theft of batteries from the two nearest cell towers, out of town. The single DSTV link to both the main bedroom and the lounge was also frustrating in regards who preferred to watch what at night. The toaster was replaced quickly, and the cleaning staff etc., were friendly and efficient. The stay was very pleasant and restful, and the scenery absolutely beautiful, with the daily visit by the Egyptian Geese family a treat.

The location was a bit far from my actual activities and the surroundings didn't feel safe. City noise levels was apparent.
