location - 5 mins from waterfront Rooms - small, heater wasn’t functional , bathroom near the bed and bathroom had glass wall so lights would disturb another person sleeping on the bed if your partner has to use the washroom Breakfast - Small spread , live counter for eggs, pancakes and crepe. Juice, bread, bacon and meat served Car parking available Staff was helpful and warm No swimming pool

aha The Rex Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. My wife and I were impressed by it’s beauty, cleanliness and amazing hospitality. The food was great the staff is so very and accommodating. We arrived were a little early no greeting from the gentleman on the reception I think he thought he was doing us a favour . A lady said our room would be 30minutes so we sat in the reception, we asked the gentleman about a toilet he directed us to one which was a public toilets . When our room was ready we were shown to it & just around the corner was the hotel bar & restaurant would of been a much better place to sit and have a beer & maybe some lunch if it had been pointed out to us . Hotel was ok people in the restaurant & bar were lovely rooms were clean we were only staying 2 nights if you were staying longer a balcony room would be

The hotel was lovely the rooms were very smart and clean and cleaned daily new towels and amenities provided every day which was very helpful overall lovely hotel for the price and 2 minute walk from the water front

The USB charger next to my bed stopped working. The warm water in the shower only lasted 5 minutes maximum which is inconvenient when you are sharing a room. Phone kept ringing deep into the night. 1 key card for a room two people are sharing was also very inconvenient. The cupboard where teas and coffees etc smelled very bad, musty, damp smell. Rip in the middle of the curtain and stains on it too. Only thing that was good was the use of a swim pool to aid recovery and the food as well as very friendly staff.
