Beautiful hotel facing the lagoon. Check in was not a smooth process due to a room mix up. The service from the staff was outstanding. The room I checked into was very nice, spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The food was delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the city center/waterfront.
Overall experience was outstanding.
I look forward to visiting this place again in summer.

From before we even arrived Miriam and the team here helped us organise spa treatments and dinner for our anniversary. Once at the lodge Promise and Ashley couldn’t have done more for us…drinks by the pool, lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner, generous sized suites, bikes for exploring and a shuttle service to take you wherever you want to go. Fantastic hotel in a great spot and very good value. Highly recommended and thank you

Nice clean happy place. Liked the design and high ceiling of our room. Traveled as two couples and liked that our request of rooms side by side was accommodated. Staff was always friendly and helpful. It’s really having to add more words to submit this review.

Leisure isle is special and this accommodation is lovely. An assortment of options and lovely public areas. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. There’s a sport area with cricket bowls and tennis and a cafe restaurant area on the isle.

Travelled with another couple. Stayed in Dolphin and Milkwood Rooms, both had wonderful views of Knysna Lagoon. Dolphin Suite was bigger. Took out hotel bikes and cycled around the island. Used the lovely hotel boat for a trip around the lagoon. Really friendly staff who gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Oh my - as we drove up we knew that this was a great choice. You cannot get a better setting if you like a sea view. This hotel is beautifully appointed and decorated with large windows everywhere so you can take in the sea view wherever you are. Mariet was a delight to deal with as were the rest of the staff throughout the hotel. We were very fortunate in being given the Starfish Suite on the ground floor (this helped hubby with his golf bag). What a stunning room with a HUGE double shower. In fact, my only one little criticism is that the shower head arm is way too short. We loved our little patio where we could lay on the sun loungers enjoying the spectacular view of the Heads and the sea. This hotel has bicycles and kayaks for free use by guests which is a lovely added extra. Our breakfasts were delicious and the choice was good. My husband was going to golf early the one morning (before breakfast service time) and they made him up a lovely healthy breakfast pack to go. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Treat yourself!!

Both my wife and I found the Amanzi fabulous. The staff were wonderful, the accommodation comfortable with a lovely outlook over the water. Dinner was superb and the breakfast great overlooking the lake. Complimentary bicycles were used by us both before dinner and breakfast and cycling around the beautiful Leisure Island was amazing. We had unfortunately only booked only 1 night only before going for a week to Plettenberg Bay. Next time it will definitely be a longer stay.

A very attractive and luxurious hotel in a lovely position with excellent service. Bikes provided, a very nice swimming pool and organised boat trips too, highly recommended.
