An enchanting hotel. We only stayed 1 night but it was so nice. When we arrived the owner offered us a drink and chatted with us explaining that the hotel had been in his family for years. He was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were late arriving and the restaurant had closed but he offered a cold plate if we wanted it. The room was lovely. Clean and had everything we needed. There was a balcony with outside furniture so we bought a bottle of wine and sat outside on the balcony to drink it. It was idyllic. The hotel is surrounded by vineyards which create the Mosel Reisling wine Breakfast was lovely. Freshly prepared and whatever we wanted. More was offered if we wanted it. Klaus was lovely and very helpful. We bought several bottles of the local wine from him and he helped us to take all our luggage to the car. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.
