Property Description
You will love the cozy & clean feel of our cabin. We have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen for cooking and meal preparation, a cozy living room with a wood-fired stove and panoramic windows. The view will keep you awe-inspired throughout your stay! The finishings include wood floors, hickory cabinets, granite countertops, tiled shower accents, stone fireplace and wood trim throughout the chalet. All of our beds have fresh cotton sheets with nice linen blankets, and soft high-end down-alternative pillows. All bedding is hypo-allergenic so you can rest easy. The house is 3 levels. The main floor offers the kitchen, a full bathroom, and a large living room with a wood stove and a smart TV. There are two bedrooms on this level. One with a firm king bed, and one with a medium-firm queen bed. Downstairs we have a half-bathroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a twin bed. The lower bunk is a full, and the upper bunk is a twin. There is also a 2nd living room with a TV and entertainment system full of DVDs, board games, and more. This is where families and friends play! The upstairs loft has a medium-firm full-sized bed and a full bathroom. It also has an even better vantage point of the mountains! We just recently upgraded internet to Yellowknife, a fixed wireless internet service. It is superior to Satellite internet and has lower latency in all types of weather. Your party will have no issues streaming Netflix, browsing the web, checking email, etc. Other notes. *Up to 2 pets are allowed. Please be respectful, and take care of any messes. *Firewood is included with your rental. We occasionally run low and cannot make it down to replenish the supply before the next guests. We will do our best to let you know if that is the case so you can pick up a few bundles on your way out. **THE LOCATION** Crescent Lake is Oregon's hidden gem! There are 4 lakes, countless mountain hikes, a ski resort, and a few lake resorts all within less than 30 minutes away. You could live here for years and not explore everything this area has to offer. When you’re ready to head outside and explore, check out our binder at the property for a few ideas for hikes, trail-riding, boating, or swimming in the summer and downhill skiing / snowboarding, snowshoeing / x-country skiing, snowmobile trails in the winter. The north entrance to Crater Lake is about an hour away in summer. We love going there for a quick day trip to see the gorgeous views! If it’s winter time, Crater Lake can be accessed via the South and West entrances year-round. Great Location and Home We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Home was comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated. Property was relatively close to everything we hoped to see and do while we were here. TV downstairs didn’t really work, they had a lot of videos, mostly Disney that my college age son and girlfriend tried to watch but they couldn’t get it to function. So there was one TV for three floors and 4 sleeping areas. This would have been more important if we weren’t at the Ski resort or snowmobiling. But if we were more “entrapped” by weather, it would have been nice to give people space when needed. This is more of suggestion for winter travelers. Side note: make sure you pack in food. Not a lot to eat in the area unless you want frozen foods or gas station food. They have suggestions and there were a couple of places but I strongly suggest you bring food. Kitchen has just about all you need to cook a great meal. I’d stay here again and maybe bring some additional tech. But honestly, in the summer…there is too much to see and do to matter.

Beautiful and comfortable We love this house. It has a great basement area for kids with a bedroom and tv area, the living room has tall ceilings and is full of windows. The only thing we didn’t like is that both of the last 2 years the driveway is very icy - this year we could not drive up and had to walk.the owners have always been very responsive but the ice could not be alleviated.

Great place in the mountains The home is very nice, well laid out and well stocked with all of the essentials in the kitchen (lots of pots, pans, utensils, etc.). It was perfect for two couples, and I can imagine it would work well with kids too.

Nice stay near Crater Lake The place was very clean and beautiful with a great view and exactly as advertised. It's only about 45 minutes from the north entrance of Crater Lake National Park and close to numerous hiking trails in the National Forest. The owners were great to deal with and all the instructions were clearly stated. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and the loft with a bathroom upstairs. The other bedroom is in the basement, which is a walkout, but it is on the lower level, so it has a little bit of that basement feel. The place was stocked with everything we needed but be prepared because it is out there and there are no really good stores close by. The little store in town does not have much.

Great Location This is our second stay at the beautiful home. So many summer activities for the kids it is a good choice. The home needs a deep cleaning. There is thick dust on the upper window sills, dust is hanging off the fan blades, along with the table light shades. Spider webs hanging everywhere. Easily remedied...and then I'd give a 5 star. Make sure to check out Salt Creek Falls and Crescent Lake. Beautiful.
