This condo is good and the service is good. I had to check out early for personal reason and they agreed to let me pay only the night i stayed. Much recommended. Be aware that you will need a transportation tho since the area is not covered by grab.

Good location, 100 m from the beach. The beach is usually quiet, a few people, mostly the locals with families and some Scandinavian tourists. Food at the restaurants and on the beach is amazing. The pool of the hotel is nice, clean and tidy. If you like running in the mornings, the road along the beach is so good. From one end to the other end is about 3.4 km and if you do a round trip, you complete your morning run…

CentaraQ is the place where the family will choose first. When thinking about a short rest (Find seafood to eat 😃) for a 3-4 night ... reason because it is not far from Bangkok, there is a private beach (there are nine canvas / swings to sit and and is a photo prop).. The school has a good atmosphere available ... There are trees and flowers to be fresh ... There is fitness to exercise .... Breakfast is varied. The taste is ok ... There is a spa as well. The room view is good ... You can see the sea 👍 The staff is polite, friendly and the service is very good. ** We try to want the school to organize a promotion often We and our family can travel often comfortably. Situated at the spectacular Cape Laem Mae Phim, Rayong, at a 2.5-hour comfortable drive from Bangkok International Airport, the newest & trendiest Destination Beach Resort in Thailand, Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Resort and Villas is located in two different wings (Garden & Ocean - 500m apart with free shuttle), includes a wide variety of dining options as well as wellness facilities and kids club. The resort offers a range of accommodation options from spectacular and upscale rooms to sea view Villas.

Whenever Mercure takes over a property, one can always be assured of transformation for the better. This is not the first Mercure “revamped” resort in Thailand I had been to. This spot was once a locally run beachfront resort called Lom Talay. Translated it means sea breeze. Everything here has now been entirely renovated, reconstructed and enhanced to a level that you never know it was once the site of a tried resort that had seen better days. The pool had been re-cladded, beautified and now features jacuzzi sections. The landscaping completely redone. The accommodations are now ultra-modern, you can find so many USB charging ports in your room you can combine them to charge your Tesla. They have in total just over 50 rooms, so this resort still retains solitude vibes for one that seeks a quieter seaside retreat. According to what’s known, there is a second phase coming, expanding the resort with another hundred plus rooms, more restaurants and facilities. How the vibes will be then, remains to be seen. This be a small resort of sorts for now. On popular weekends, parking will have to be 2000 miles away as the front porch will be already full of parked cars. Not to worry, a golf cart is available to ferry guest so that you won’t have to bake in the inferno climate of Thailand. The pool will be mostly empty in the day even when the resort is at full occupancy. This is because Thais only come out in the gentle hours approaching sunset. They don’t like to grill in the sun like foreigners to become red lobsters. That said, there were mostly locals when we were here, I will say only 15% were of overseas origin. The beach is very well maintained, no rubbish strewn around like the resorts further west. The gradient is gentle and reveals critters during the low tide. Dig in the light brown sand a little and plenty of clams can be found. The waves were gentle in March, the clarity of the sea was the I can see my ugly toe-nails in knee deep water type. Not much of a bustle which I like. Occasionally, cheapo jet skis (more of like a jet ski body with an outboard) whizzed by the beach to decapitate unsuspecting guest in the water. Mercure is situated alongside the main road, and just next door is a public beach that separates the resort from a row of rustic seafood restaurants. They don’t’ seem to have changed much over the decades. Live seafood in tanks, and to be guaranteed a good restaurant, just watch out for which has a crowd. The alternative for dining will be in the resort’s lone restaurant in a much trendier setting watching the sunset. This is where breakfast will be served too. On the weekend we were here, there was a seafood BBQ buffet going on. There is a bar on the side of the building for that light after dinner beer chatting deep into the salty night. Breakfast is buffet styled with a good spread of food for a small resort. It was no disappointment. The restaurant had plenty of space to sit all the guests even during the popular hours. T

It's a hotel that accepts a lot of tour groups, so if anyone wants to go, call and check with the hotel carefully. What days are there tours? But if anyone is not serious, they can rest because the tour will be available in their zone. But there may be shared swimming pools, which when the group lets them relax, there will be a lot of time in the pool. (And the dissatisfaction was that everyone didn't wear swimsuits in the pool. (If you leave your weight training clothes on, the pool becomes cloudy and dirty.) What is very dissatisfied is the hotel booking. We reserved the hotel more than a month in advance and paid first from the day of booking for 4 sea view rooms, but when we arrived, we checked in at about 5 p.m. at the reception. Informed that we apologize that the room may not be as requested. We requested that it be a room with a balcony and three double beds and one separate bed. This hotel can provide it. But in terms of the sea view, which we paid more for than the garden view, we couldn't get it back. The rooms we stayed in turned out to have pool views, three rooms, plus one room with a garden view that saw the sea very far away. Moreover, there was no TV in the room. One of the rooms had a very strong stench. which has already been reported to reception that I would like to change rooms But it appeared that there was a tour group that day, so the room was full. This is understandable, but I am very, very, very dissatisfied. That is, when we reserved and paid for the room a month in advance and one day before our stay, we called the hotel to inform them and the hotel should take care of it. and lock the sea view room Not claiming that we were late for check-in so the room we reserved was not available. The hotel should have paid us back because the garden view, pool view and sea view room rates are different prices. Normally, if there aren't enough rooms, the hotel has to offer a more expensive room, not a cheaper room, which is a very bad deal. But because we had traveled to many places that day and were very tired, it was tiring to argue. and don't want to find a new place to stay. In this part, the hotel doesn't have any special rights or anything for us other than a single word of apology. Therefore, we think that this part of the service is very bad.

Just wanted to share my amazing experience at the Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa! The room was sparkling clean, and they even made sure my birthday request was perfectly prepared – a big thank you to everyone involved! The staff truly impressed me with their friendliness and helpfulness, especially Khun Wean at the check-in counter. The resort boasts two lovely pools. While the main pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance during my visit, the one connecting to the beach offered breathtaking views that left me speechless. Speaking of the beach, the hotel's direct access was fantastic! There were some rocks near the stairs leading down, so just a heads up to be cautious when stepping onto them. For a relaxing evening, we dined at the C-salt restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it! If you're looking for a convenient and enjoyable dinner option without leaving the hotel, I highly recommend giving it a try.

My wife and I stayed here with our 8 yr old son as a stop over on our way from Bangkok airport to Koh Chang. Just over 2 hours in a taxi from airport, then another 2 hours onto Ao Thammachat pier so if anyone is travelling to Koh Chang and don't want to travel in one go then this is ideal to break up the journey. Location is fairly remote but there is more than enough around you, eating, shops etc. Pools are amazing and the beach is superb 👌 Breakfast is excellent, everything you wld expect from a typical Thai resort (rice, noodles, curry, fruit, pastries etc). Staff were very friendly, we only had a double bed so staff brought a mattress for my son to sleep on, free of charge 🙂 This is a very clean resort and not sure how old it is but definitely has a feeling of being new. The garden area near pool are really nice and well maintained. I can't fault this resort in any way. This really is a hidden gem, what an excellent hotel. If we travel to Koh Chang again (which we will as its an excellent Island) we would definitely stay over at this resort, but next time would stay longer. It is important to add that I don't often leave reviews but this hotel deserves it 👏 Thanks you

We had a family holiday with a 12 year old child. The hotel was very decent, located on the first line, the view from the room was on the sea, every evening from the balcony we watched gorgeous sunsets, as well as Samet Island. The pool is very well located, literally next to the beach. The food was very decent by Thai standards. The rooms were updated, cleaning was daily. But the place itself is very quiet, there is nowhere to go except for cafes on the beach. I recommend the hotel.

Star Dream Island (formerly known as Koh Man Klang. In Thai: เกาะมันกลาง. In English: Koh Man Klang) is a small island located off the coast of Krang District, Klaeng, Rayong Province, Thailand. This island is the middle one among the Man Islands (composed of three small islands: Koh Man Klang, Koh Man Nai, and Koh Man Nok). The island has an area of about 78 rai and is only a five-minute boat ride from the location of the Man Nai Sea Turtle Conservation Center initiated by Queen Sirikit. The conservation center has a sea turtle museum where friendly staff provide knowledge to tourists. There is also a pond for raising baby sea turtles and a variety of adult sea turtles, including hawksbill turtles and green turtles. Star Dream Island is located in Kram Subdistrict. It has clean white sandy beaches with sand as white and fine as that on Koh Samet. The highlight of this island is that it is a private island. Tourists can get close to nature on the island and engage in various activities such as swimming, snorkeling, banana boating, jet skiing, and sea fishing. There is also a spot for walking around the island that looks like a small open sea. There is a sandbar connecting the island to a group of rocks in the sea. At low tide, you will see the sandbar appear. Star Dream Island is a place to enjoy the natural atmosphere. It is suitable for those who like to travel quietly by sea. Tourists can fully enjoy the coconut trees, clear water, white sand, watch the sun rise, climb the observation deck to watch the sunset. Along with the ebb and flow of the tide, you can watch the colorful corals and giant clams. At low tide, you can take beachcombing tools and join the beachcombing team to harvest the rich gifts of nature.

GGuest User 2024.08.22
The first time I came to Pattaya, Thailand, with my husband, I tried to live in the only hotel on Xingmeng Island. It was really good. This is a private island. The island is very quiet and the island owner is very enthusiastic. We chose a bubble house big bed room. Although the room is not big, it is very warm. During the day, we can enjoy the sea view on the terrace, and the sunset, and the starry sky at night. For those who don't like swimming, they are attracted by the clear sea water on this island. Sea shells, sea fish and corals in the sea can be seen everywhere.

LLCN74It’s basically a small private island. About 45 min via a ferry and boat ride. And about 3 - 3.5 hours drive from Bangkok. We stayed in the Beachview Bungalows. These are relatively basic but spacious. Love the huge changing room area with the big mirror. All the rooms have no electricity between 9am to 1pm, and there are no TVs. Wi-Fi is on the slow side and available in the reception area. The mattress was on the thicker side but it was still comfy. We stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet was yummy and the same for both days. There are some vegetarian options on the lunch and dinner menu. I think the food is ok. Some items are really good. Some are above average but don’t stand out as much. You can also top up water at the restaurant’s water dispensers. Expect insect bites - so mosquito repellants is highly recommended. We tried snorkeling, and the resort has snorkeling gear for loan. We found some coral and fish in the waters near the resort. These areas are marked with floating balls anchored to the sea bed. The coral and fish don’t look like what we see on Nat Geo, but they still look nice. You can also rent kayaks. The infinity pool is small but very good for photos and chilling. The beach area around the resort is generally clean and great for photo ops. The walk around the island - near Bungalow B12 which is furthest from the reception - takes about 45 min to 60 min and covers an approximate distance of 1.6 km. There are some very nice scenic spots along the trail. Lots of washed up rubbish along the way too, just to show how much we humans discard. Just have proper footwear (non-slip, good grip) as parts of the path include climbing over rocks and navigating steep paths. There are ropes along the steep sections and signs along the path. Some of the huts by the beach have power points - probably beneficial if you have to check out at 11:30am but the ferry back to mainland sets off only at 3pm. Lots of peacocks on the island. All very docile. Arrangements from check in to check out was smooth. I also got the resort to arrange a taxi for us back to Bangkok after we check out. It was the more pricey option, but time saving. All in all - the resort is relatively clean. The staff are fantastic. It’s a great place for friends, families and couples to hang out and chill.

GGuest UserWe booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 5. We had a Deluxe Sea View corner room on the 4th floor which was lovely. Staff are friendly, breakfast is a little limited but good. Pool and gardens are great. Just wish there was somewhere on site to get some drink and snacks during the day. There were a couple of bars which were in need of repair which they seemed to be working on so maybe they will re open these at some stage. There are however several beach bars along the beach which we enjoyed. This is always a complaint of mine in Thailand, particularly along this coastline. CLEAN YOUR BEACH ! The view is lovely, but spoiled by the amount of garbage washed up on the shore. Its horrible. I know you cannot control what washes up but 100% you can control what you do with it. The beach is your biggest asset, that's why we go and not some inland resort. If you just clean it once a day it will make a massive difference and hopefully the resort next door follows your lead and in time the whole beach is as it should be. You have a lovely resort but spoil it by not taking care of the one thing we go for, THE BEACH

GGuest UserThe room we had was a good size, was clean and smelt fresh when we walked in, the bed was very comfortable. The shower hose should be replaced it was like a hose. It was disappointing that the Fresco restaurant was closed as the others that were open in Mae Pim were mainly seafood ones and for what was on offer were expensive. Breakfast at the hotel was a good one. The locals do like to hit the beach with pick up music at a high level n the evenings. Mae Pim is a lovely safe family beach, such a pity it was so dirty with polystyrene, plastics and assorted other rubbish that the tide had dumped there and no one seemed to be bothered to clean the place up, not sure we will be back.

PpapspThe hotel is well placed. Not paying mine but is comfortable. Small bungalows lovely. Not the great luxury at room level but it is not the goal of searching in a resort. The restaurant is fabulous. The kitchen is very talented we are gifts. Better than in a Italian restaurant. The only bemol for a French. The choice of wines. No French wine. California or other wine has my taste not very good. The staff is very nice and very friendly and very friendly.

GGuest UserThis is a bad hotel both in terms of quality and the way the staff work! We had booked two rooms with a sea view but only got one because ”there are many customers and the rooms are fully booked”. Very poor excuse. The rooms smelled bad on arrival and were of a mediocre style with a very small fridge. The pictures on Agoda's pages were fake and did not correspond to reality.
